Yeah shooting percentages are a little too high for me, but I am using the Suns so who knows lol

Anyways, how to get the AI to make more free throws? Some games they'll leave 15+ points at the line and shoot 35% for the game for FT's.

It's a 2k issue sadly on the free throws.

the sliders and rosters are really solid but 2K makes it so difficult to enjoy their game this year lol

I thought 2k did a good job this year imo. Out the box the game was at its best the last 10 years. But the updates is what hurts so many players & creators.

game is too easy. just basic fundamental things are off. defensive rotations are premature, they can't guard a two man game without three defenders, and the help comes way before it's needed. the offensive AI always uses the screen, so you can hedge and ice as hard as you want since they'll never refuse the screen. ai play calling isn't very inspiring, there's usually only one action per play so it's predictable and makes it so the slider/roster set has to allow the AI to hit difficult shots. AI still can't understand what a mismatch is. you can foul a 3pt shot and the ai miss all three freethrows so you dont get punished at all for fouling.

on offense, pick and roll leads to an open midrange shot every time and it's far too easy to green it, even easier if it's fading/leaning. passing isn't really rewarded or necessary since, again, AI rotations are an eye sore lol.

About the free throws ; I remember reading on another thread that playing with the free throw difficulty slider messes up cpu’s ft percentage. Iirc he had the ft difficulty slider at 55 and said anything other than that screwed things up. Don’t know how accurate it is but it might be worth a shot.

Yeah, I left mine at 50. And I think it's ok. It's definitely an issue in some game rarely. But I mean that's realistic. Some teams do struggle at the line some games.

Realistic Sliders are User vs Cpu. And control all 5 players.
Player Lock is User vs Cpu but you lock onto one position.
