Another option could be to simulate till the end of the season and add new rooks and stuff, but also then the stats will not be real stats, it would be the simulated stats.

I've seen lots of custom rosters on 2K Share that have real 22-23 stats for each player, I'm just not sure how they're doing it. For example, a user on the first 'Hot' page by the name of Reek1_ has the latest official 2K roster (you can tell by looking at player ratings) and yet all players have their real 22-23.

Yes that’s possible, but they start with the actual custom made rosters. They won’t have the attributes and tendencies of a player changed which makes tynoles roster so much more joy to play. The one thing to change are the sliders, but the more difficult to change ist the players own attributes and stuff. Ususally u will recognize those roster if u compare the signature shots. Ty‘s roster has his own sigs for the most of the players while the 2k rosters ride with their ones.

I'm not so sure they (Reek1_ , etc) started with a custom roster. Player attributes and tendencies are identical to the latest default roster and yet have this season's stats. There are lots of rosters on 2K Share that have done this too, I just have no idea how they're doing it. Interested to see Tynole's take.

You are right my man. But till u can’t start today with the roster set of tynole, it’s not possible for tynole to have real stats in it. U would need to start a myleague with 2k rosters at „start today“ and change all the players and shots and tendencies and accesoires etc. to have the real stats in it? U know what I mean. Tynole started making his roster set soon after release. So it would be starting all from the beginning for him. I hope so much that I’m wrong, bc I also would love to have real stats in it and the right years and stuff. But i sadly think I’m right.

Sorry for the offtopic question, because I'm not familiar with high basketball knowledge, but why are stats important in a videogame? Do they even do anything? (not just in these posts, but in general 2k games I see that people are passionate about stats).

I'm not trying to be rude, I don't come from a basketball background. It's curius to me.

It changes nothing about gameplay. For me it’s just the simulation feeling I like. But I tell u, it’s easier not to be too passionate about realism.

Doesn't affect gameplay at all, just fun to have included in the roster. Also for convenience as opposed to looking up stats on ESPN. Helps me with setting rotations knowing last year's minutes per have played, etc.

Thanks, I'm from Spain and I'm not a big basket player. Played NBA 99 on PC, NBA Live 06 on PS2 and then 2k20. It's crazy how many options and variables we can modify only in MyNBA.

Yeah still quite a bit of free agents out there. Got like 8 teams with incomplete rosters too.

Yeah @Uludag Gazos is explaining right. But if there's a hack out there I have never seen it or heard of it. I started working on the roster as soon as the game came out. Hence the reason I have like 800 something updates. I would have start all over. But let me know , if you find out a hack to get the real stats somehow.

So strange, so I wonder how these other guys have the latest default roster on 2K share with full 22-23 stats? Unless they're really using their own custom roster and spending 10 hours to copy over every attribute and tendency each time there's an official update, there must be a hack out there. I just don't know what it is.

Showing stats for me while riding the roster. It's just when you go into MyNBA it won't because you are technically playing the "22-23" NBA season. 18913bde3b80-screenshotUrl.jpg

I still can’t believe Houston paid that much for Dillon Brooks. I think that will glitch the game!

Lol Rockets going crazy. Seems like a lot of desperate moves to me.

Not to derail the thread by talking about basketball but this is absolutely correct. They're just making desperate moves.

They overpaid for VanVleet, but atleast he's a quality player that can bring good value to a team. Then I see the Dillon Brooks deal, and I'm like "what in the actual hell "? 80 million fully guaranteed is crazy. I'm guessing they did it because they need someone actually willing to play defense on the perimeter, but still, that's way too much.

As a Grizzlies fan, I hope they have fun with him. Atleast he isn't in Memphis anymore.
