Think my game speed is at 43 right now. Most realistic movement and feet placement for me.

Confirmed, I believe that right now the ideal speed on this roster is 43

I play 2K every year, and one of the constant disappointments I have is how the CPU seems unable or unwilling to score within the restricted area. There's little driving to the rim, and even when there is, players release their layups from practically 10ft away. Or, when a player gets the ball under the basket, instead of going up for a layup or dunk, the player dribbles out a few feet and immediately takes a bad jump hook.

I've been trying all rosters and sliders and still haven't found a reliable fix. As an example, I loaded up this roster and sliders, and the CPU takes 2 of 21 attempts within the restricted area in the first quarter.

Is there something I'm missing about how to get this part of the game to look and feel right?

It's definitely a problem in 2k for sure. Problem is if i up close shot tendency at all you will see the 2 foot jumpshots which pisses me off like nothing else while playing. I can up inside shot success to 100 and see maybe that does it? Think it's on 75 right now. If I give players like Paolo Banchero or LeBron inside/close shot tendencies you will see that 2foot jumpshot crap again. I'll see what I can test out. But yeah it's an issue. The CPU players need to know where they are on the floor but they usually don't.

The Atlanta Hawks are finished. Just gotta figure out the balance on their alley oops and more detailed playbook work down the road.

Ran a game on Player Lock Sliders tonight. Ton of fun. CPU Trailblazers vs User Hawks

The Charlotte Hornets are finished! The playbook is not the final product and haven't been able to test them.

The Brooklyn Nets are done but their playbook is an absolute mess right now. If you test be mindful the playbook needs lots of work.
