        I just played the best game since 2k first came out on dream cast..these roster mix with a certain slider set is fire... I've been playing 2k since dream cast and I must dmsay..well done..game went to the buzzer beater by LeBron...20230925_093848.jpg

            Just wait till we get the Nuggets & Lakers get done. The only teams we've fully gotten done editing are. Grizzlies, Kings, Magic, Pistons, Spurs, & Timberwolves. Last couple of days I've been doing a ton testing. Going to get back to getting some teams done. Mavericks next! [emoji106]

              Some feedback on a game I just finished with the newest realistic slider set (46). I was the Wolves vs. CPU Pistons. Pistons won late. My guys lost the 3 three ball late. Felt like a realistic loss. Committed some bad fouls too. Was a bit distracted late by some other things this morning. Some thoughts:

              Positives:

              + The game flow felt good overall with game speed at 44. I agree this overall setting feels most realistic. Nothing crazy or superhuman by the CPU in terms of speed.

              + Shot attempts both FG and 3pt by the CPU felt good and the stats for both look good. User FG attempts on the other hand was still low this game. I guess I just haven’t been shooting enough? Idk. I don’t feel like I play unrealistic to get shots. User percentage looked good though.

              + Felt less stickiness on D for both user and CPU, which feels really good. I think its getting near where it needs to be. Perimeter felt good most of the time, and paint contact was there most of the time too. I think a bit more slight tinkering to both and it will be perfect before long.

              Areas to improve based on my experience:

              - Felt like the Help D for CPU needs to be a bit higher to get them to commit a bit more on paint penetration. Did have a few really nice drive and kick plays with really good open shots though. Would like to see more.

              - Felt like there needed to be more steal attempts by user AI teammates. I did see some unsuccessful steal attempts just wanted to see more. Especially in the passing lanes. The CPU picked off plenty of passes in the lanes. Had one really nice pick on a perimeter pass I lazily attempted which Ivey took back for a break away dunk. Would like to see more of this by my own AI teammates. Didnt feel like they attempted enough when it made sense. Connelly had the ball thrown right over the top of his head at one point and he didn’t even react.

              -Felt like ball security for CPU needs to be lower due to overall low steal and turnover numbers after a handful of games.

              - Low foul numbers again for both, but this could be due to the way I play off ball most of the time. I don’t know what it is, I just have an affinity for playing the big man on defense and swatting shots when I can. Total hype for me as I love seeing good defense.

              Full game stats (12 min quarters) –

              Pistons (CPU) vs Timberwolves (User)

              Points 110 vs 94

              FG 52% on 88 shots vs 47% on 76 shots (Low shot attempts by me I know. Didn’t feel low during the course of the game though. CPU attempts looks good. I’m okay with the 52% by them as you do have outlier games in real life.)

              3PT 36% on 25 shots vs 39% on 31 shots (2022-23 3pt% was 32.7% low and 38.4% high. Shots attempted per game was 28 on the low end and 43 on the high. So this felt good in game. With a bit more tinkering, it’ll be perfect.)

              FT 9/10 90% vs 10/14 71% (2022-23 low % was 73.9% and 84% being the high. Attempts per game were 20 being low and 26 being the high. Low shooting foul situations for both imo. Though as I said earlier, my playstyle could be impacting this.)

              Fastbreak points 12 vs 2 (2022-23 low per game was 11 and 18 was the high. Definitely need more fast break points for User. I think increasing turnovers somehow would help this.)

              PIP 50 vs 32 (2022-23 low per game was 42 and the high was 57. Need more points in the paint for User here, but again, my playstyle could be impacting this.)

              Second chance points 3 vs 7 (2022-23 per game high on this was 8.4 with the low being in the negative. So this felt good and looks good.)

              Bench Points 22 vs 18

              Assists 29 vs 25 (2022-23 low per game was 22 and the high was 29.6. Felt great in game and looks great too stat wise.)

              Oreb 3 vs 8 (2022-23 low per game was 7.6 and the high was 13. Not sure how to improve this but would like to see a tad more for both. Also, if I, as user, shot more in this game, this could have gone up maybe.)

              Dreb 36 vs 40 (2022-23 low per game was 30 and the high was 37. This felt good for the most part in game, and is almost perfect stat wise imo.)

              Steals 14 vs 4 (2022-23 low per game was 6 and the high was 9. Need an increase in steals for the user and a slight decrease for CPU. I guess I could attempt more when playing too, but it’s a fine line of cheesing.)

              Blocks 4 vs 2 (2022-23 low per game was 3 and the high was 6. Would like to see more blocks by User AI teammates.)

              Turnovers(Points off) 7(16) vs 18(4) (2022-23 low per game was 11 and the high was 16. CPU turnovers needs an increase. User looks good. I think lowering ball security for CPU would help this.)

              Team Fouls 9 vs 10 (2022-23 low per game was 17.8 and the high was 22. Low fouls for each, but my playstyle could be impacting this too. There are so many great contact animations in this game that feel good and appropriate for the game situation. Wish we could see more without the stickiness.)

              Dunks 6 vs 7

                Some strange stuff here. With last updates I got a ton of free throws on both ends.
                On the passing lane steals i think i have user on 99. And boosted every player's pass perception. So, going to have to come up with something else. Maybe more interceptor badge.
                Help defense is also boosted on both ends. All players on 90+ on help defense IQ. So, will have to take a good look.
                Would CPU taking a little more threes.
                I can up User On ball steal attempts. I know it's already high tho.
                I can get CPU to turn the ball over a little more.
                Offensive rebounds is confusing me. I thought had it perfectly where it was especially in my last game.
                Appreciate the feedback man, always !Was this game on the very last update I had?

                  Sure! No prob! Got a lot going on today, but I enjoy helping with testing. Yes, this was on your most recent realistic slider set (46) I think. One thing, I have been doing all this testing on quick game loading your roster and sliders as you update them. I don't know if it will play different once I start a MyNBA with my Mavs. I've heard in the past that the game plays different in quick game versus MyNBA. Don't know if that's true, but based on what I've seen in quick games, I really do think lowering ball security for the CPU would up steal and turnover numbers for User consistently. What do you do have the CPU ball security setting at now? I thought I saw it set at 40 something this morning? ...

                    Think it's at 45 or 46. We can try around 43 or 44.
                    I'll do a full game test tonight on Realistic Sliders. Get some of these numbers better. Then get some Mavericks work in. Player Lock looks awesome right now. Going to take break testing there.

                        Had this nice game with realistic sliders yesterday I was the kings.
                        Liked the game flow with 44 game speed as well. Also it seemed to me that Fouls where higher and shot attempts went up. Really good work so far thank you.

                        Does somebody know how the corner Freelance works or is ther a bug? I tried to run it at a time but it was more like a 5 out spacing and not having sabonis at the elbow 🤷*♂️

                        And if you set substitution on rotation does the cpu the also use rotation or are they still on ace?

                            I'm not sure about the freelance. Maybe @JCross can answer that. I know he tested some.
                            It's funny we were going to test that substitution method tonight. Because we have an issue right now with the Grizzlies. It being on ACE , it doesn't want to stagger Marcus Smart at backup point guard. We have tried so much. Changed positions & minutes. Right now the ace system wants to play Kennard at point guard which is not good at all.

                              at the 8:22 min mark that was some impressive Denver defense (by KCP) helping off reaves to cutter while LeBron was being double teamed caused that crazy turnover.

                                The substitutions on ACE has it pros and cons. Sometimes it does really well with staggering sometimes not. Like I was saying in the other message. It has an issue with staggering a starting guard for backup point guard. Teams like Grizzlies and Hawks need that. So, we are testing a lot on how to fix that.
