Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Had this nice game with realistic sliders yesterday I was the kings.
Liked the game flow with 44 game speed as well. Also it seemed to me that Fouls where higher and shot attempts went up. Really good work so far thank you.
Does somebody know how the corner Freelance works or is ther a bug? I tried to run it at a time but it was more like a 5 out spacing and not having sabonis at the elbow [emoji1745]*[emoji3603]
And if you set substitution on rotation does the cpu the also use rotation or are they still on ace?

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
The substitutions on ACE has it pros and cons. Sometimes it does really well with staggering sometimes not. Like I was saying in the other message. It has an issue with staggering a starting guard for backup point guard. Teams like Grizzlies and Hawks need that. So, we are testing a lot on how to fix that.

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Some feedback on a game I just finished with the newest realistic slider set (56). I was the Spurs vs. CPU Pistons. Pistons won late. Spurs just don’t have enough firepower late. Couldn’t stop Cunningham all game, only contained him a bit. Boogey was good for them too. Some thoughts:
Positives:
+ The game flow felt good overall with game speed at 44. Nothing crazy or superhuman by the CPU in terms of speed again. I think this is where it needs to be.
+ I thought all the contact on the perimeter and in the paint was appropriate and felt good minus a few instances of slightly weird things visually. Honestly, at this point, I think it’s 2k’s new animation system whatever they are trying to do with it. Personally, I think the game across the board needs major visual upgrades like actual “next gen” visuals, but barring that, I can live with some slightly weird things every now and then.
+ Another game where assist stats for both User and CPU look great, right on point. 3 point shot attempts and percentage for both look great too.
Things I’m still noticing:
- My low total FG shot attempts as User. I play mainly with the Mavericks, and I play slow as a result – pace and space for Luka. Maybe it’s just my playstyle as here was another game where I only put up 76 total. Idk.
- Low free throw attempts here again for User. Maybe my playstyle here too. I need to drive more. I am a play guy and pass the ball to get open shots more often than not.
-Low fast break points for User. Again, maybe my playstyle.
-Low points in the paint for both CPU and User. Maybe my play style here too.
-Low second chance point for User and CPU.
-Low offensive rebounds for User. CPU game stat look good.
-Defensive Rebounds are still a bit high for both User and CPU.
-Steals per game are looking better for both. Still a bit high for CPU and a tad low for User. I had multiple instances in this game of User initiated steal attempts when guarding the ball handler that should have been contact and the hands didn’t bother the ball.
- Blocks are looking better too, just would like to see a tad bit more.
- Another game with low turnovers for CPU. Pistons only had 6 all game. You can see it in their stat line too. Does ball security for the CPU need to be several clicks lower?
- Low fouls again for each with 12. Probably could of got more if I had drove the paint more. Not sure. I feel like I played pretty realistically and had some contact that should have been fouls but didn’t get the call.
- *** I had one drive with Graham on the Spurs that drove me nuts in the moment. I had clearly gotten by my defender, and I had an open lane to the hoop and instead of going straight up with it for a layup and score, the layup animation is a eurostep into the middle of the paint and his layup attempt is blocked by Cunningham who was already in the air to block his shot. Felt like a total canned animation, a total headscratcher CPU cheese moment… made no sense for the AI to do that in that situation when he should of just gone straight up. Also, had a moment like that with Wemby instead of shooting a jumper over his man when I pressed square, he did this stupid little gallop in the paint and tried to lay it up looking like a guard and got blocked.. another WTH moment. *** Really the only two eye sores animation wise I saw all game though.

I feel like if I go any lower ok ball security it will be to easy to rip them. So, might have to go -1 on pass accuracy.
Strange to me that you still barely got any offensive rebounds.
Definitely need to push the pace a little more for you as user.
I buffed inside finishing for user so little surprised only 18 pts in the paint.

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Some feedback on a game I just finished with the newest realistic slider set (updates 54). I was the Mavericks vs. CPU Grizzles. Mavs managed a win. Luka was Luka. Kyrie played well. Lively II was surprisingly good at times. Grant Williams is going to be fun. He had a few good steals in the paint and hit some big 3’s in the clutch. I like him already. It was a fun game. Some thoughts:
Positives:
+ The game flow felt okay at 44 this game. At times they seemed a bit light on their feet like they needed more weight, but overall it still feels okay for the most part. I may drop it down to 43 to see if that gives me the weighty feel I’m looking for, but that’s just personal preference. I don’t like seeing players running around like they have no weight at all.
+ I thought most of the contact on the perimeter and paint was good apart a few contact animation issues I’ll mention below. Players felt more agile when it mattered which I could instantly feel as different from the previous sets. And the ball seem more lively than it has been previously which I really loved. Saw some great multiple offensive rebounds, steals, and cool putbacks I hadn’t seen before.
+ Post game stats are looking better and better with each update to sliders. Really good stuff overall. Quality work all around.
Things I’m still noticing:
- Big things I noticed this game were around wonky animations mostly. 2 were in the paint when the Grizzles got the ball inside to Jackson Jr. He fumbled it and I, as User controlled Josh Green, went to help and I made Green jump into Jackson Jr to try to strip the ball. However, it didn’t strip the ball at all, Jackson’s fumbling animation allowed him to keep control and his hand with the ball in it literally very obviously clipped through the middle of Greene’s body as he jumped into him. Yeah, it was bad. LOL. No contact or anything like he wasn’t there and didn’t jump into the other player. Jackson Jr. eventually scored. I had to watch it on replay a few times because I was yelling at the tv, lol. Seriously though, what the hell are some of these new animations 2k? Sometimes I think this ProPlay system wasn’t really ready to be implemented into the game yet but they needed a new yearly gimmick to sell us. I don’t know if contact in the paint sliders can improve this, but it was certainly noticeable when it happened in game. I don’t know if anyone else has seen clipping issues like this. It’s like some of the animations are 1 or 2 man only and they don’t account for when other players crowd around adding to physics, etc. Just see some weird stuff every now and then that I don't remember in 2k23 and the wonky stuff really kills the immersion of the experience.
