Ok about to play my first game after finally simming through the first year. Managed to get the first rounders which turned into the 5th, 6th, and 18th picks in the draft. The picks were spent on 5th: Julius Randle, 6th: Joel Embiid(New coach Doc Rivers insisted), and 18th: Doug McDermott.

Here's the new look Lakers.

Kobe (team option)
Melo (went after him over James cause he just didn't feel like a Laker)
Julius Randle (draft)
Nick Calathes (FA)
Doug McDermott (draft)
Nick Young (player option)
Jordan Hill (bird rights because I just love him in this game)
Emeka Okafor (bird rights from Gasol trade)

Kent Bazemore (re-sign before FA not sure just had a feeling)

Robert Sacre (contact)

Wow what a first game! It was a shootout from the beginning, we traded leads for the first two quarters but I took a good lead into the half. We dominated the third shooting 70% to take a 19 point lead into the 4th. I took out all the starters to start the 4th and they came roaring back and forced my starters back in with just under 7 minutes to go after cutting the lead to 8.

The starters kept us out front but couldn't stymie the comeback effort as they eventually tied it up at 112 with about 6 seconds to go, we called time out after the made shot to advance to half court and I had a easy decision to make you gets the game winning attempt? Well of course Kobe does. So Kobe gets a little space on the inbounds pass just to left of the paint and puts up the mid-range jumper.... it hits back rim rattles for a second and drops giving us a 114-112 lead with about a second left and no timeouts to advance the ball for Sacramento. They inbound and heave a bomb well off target and Kobe in possibly his farewell tour hits a game winner on opening night in Sacramento just to let us all know it's still his team Melo or no Melo lol.

U know what jumps out on all of our stats is that the opponents always shoot under 30% from deep. I might crank up the 3P% and lower the tendencie by a point or so. It weird when u have every Team shooting 25% from deep, especially if its the Warriors or so…

And another Question, lets say I want more control over my players shot and be responsible if I/they mess up etc (like you Kay, which is why you switched back to Shot stick if im not mistaking) but i just cant handle the freaking shot-stick. Would user timing and "Square" have the same effect?

Version 2.5 will fix that as i just got back to using shot stick

Do you have to put these sliders in before mygm? Every time I put them in after I start mygm they seem to not act right. The on ball defense is weird and it seems like players slide.

Just has a great game as the Jazz against the Thunder. We traded leads for pretty much the entire first half I did manage to carry a y point lead into the fourth but could never really pull away from the Thunder.

With 1:16 to go Favors hit one of his two fts to give us a 100-98 lead, Westbrook then hit fouled and hit both of his attempts to tie it up at 100.

A short dry spell ensued until Westbrook managed to get a front rimmed layup to somehow fall to give them a 2pt lead with :28 seconds to go. So we call time to advance it and I decide wth this is the Thunder let's go for the w not the tie. So inbound the ball Burke gets a ok look inside but we dish it out to Korver who nails his second three of the game to give us a 103-102 lead with 18 to go!

So I'm all ramped up for the inbounds defense and Kanter jumps in front of the pass to Durant and gets fouled by Durant for the clear path foul! So Kanter misses the first and makes the second for a two point lead. As you know clear path fouls mean two fts and the ball so Burke gets fouled with :15 to go and continues his excellence at the line(10-10) to give us a 106-102 lead.

They have no timeouts so they can advance it, Durant brings it up and misses the three but Ibaka goes over Burke for the board and dishes back to Durant who instead of shooting another three throws the oop for Ibaka who finishes with :5 left to make it a 2pt game. Hayward gets fouled on the inbound hits the first and misses the second and Westbrook can't get the heave off and the Jazz beat the Thunder 107-104!

Maybe not the most realistic game but was fairly fun.

thing i don't understand is how the cpu shot numbers always 10 15 shots more then i look at time of possession and its usually even and offensive rebounding is even turnovers are always around even and no other stat i could think of would effect this i need help brain storming guys i just don't get it

Well fts usually have a good part of it, and for me turnovers lil bit as well.

take my last game for example, I shot 20 more free throws than the cpu which is 10fg attempts.

So that would make it 82 cpu fgs to my 79 as opposed to 92 to 79.

thank you know at least i know the problem!!!! only way to even it out is lowering hum ft's attempts because i have done everything to raise cpu attempts
