Re: Armor & Swords NBA 2K15 Pro/Sim/Real FG/FT% "Average Joe" Sliders

First off I wanted to say thanks for this slider set.
It's played very well for me thus far, and most of all the games have felt realistic and fun.
Everything may not be 100% realistic, but I'd like to avoid slider-hell and constantly tinkering, so I've left it as is to this point and am having fun. (while it may not be 100% realistic, there also isn't anything that completely ruins immersion).

The one issue I have had though is with injuries. In 22 games I've had 4 of 5 starters with 2+ month long injuries. 3 of those of the "Out" variety. (edit* These were the injuries you can't play through, I initially put "Hurt" but I think that was the wrong label for the major injuries).
Since this is a more objective slider I wanted to see if others have had this issue, or if I really have just been unlucky.
If it's just unlucky I can live with that. I should also add that I am using the Bulls...So while annoying, the rash of injuries isn't completely unrealistic. Thus far Butler is my only starter to have remained healthy through the first quarter of the season.

Any feedback on what you guys have experienced is appreciated.

Armor love the sliders, play very well only thing I see is low is blocks. If I up them how high should I go ? Thanks and once again great job

Not sure if the slider effects type or length of injuries just how often.

After about 30 games i have had 3 injuries to Rondo, parsons and greg smith all 8-10 week ankle injuries. I would prefer more minor injuries more often than major one less often.

If i cop another similar injury i might start editing a few down a couple of weeks.

I got prompted to a system update last night and I swear after one quarter of playing I had to shut the game off. Game is moving way fast and dribble moves are so choppy. Anyone else having this problem? Any new slider update?

Hey A&S. I had given up on the game post patch. I didn't like the way it played but I had the itch.

I just popped in your slider set and played one of the most incredible games I've had in the 2K series.

Back and forth all game, defensive adjustments needed to be made all 2nd half and at the end.....stats that were 100% NBA legitimate.

Thanks for all the testing and tweaking you do.

These sliders are a testament to how well 2k has tuned the gameplay, as they are very close to default. After trying much more extreme adjustments on Superstar and All Star levels, I decided to try these out as base. My only adjustments were making the user/cpu sliders equal across the board.

Had a fun opening myleague game as the Cavs vs the Knicks using the 2/12 official roster. Was down by three at the half, blitzed them in the third to take a double digit lead, and held on for an eight point win after the Knicks had narrowed it to a one possession game with a couple of minutes left.

As others have said, the flow of the game just feels better on pro level.

I play it on All-Star and its very realistic. Good teams play good, great teams play great. Defense is a bit harder so be prepared for a little bit of frustration and make sure you make adjustments as needed.

Sliders were a lot better when moved to all star....m was playing on pro and beat the bulls by 19 with the bucks so if you're lookin for more of a challenge that's what I'd suggest

                        Hello Armor & Swords

Remember me? I'm the guy that made a thread about Pro difficulty being too hard.

Well, after a longer abstinence from the game I decided to have a last try with your sliders, because they looked promising. But the result was pretty much the same as before: I lost my first game with the Magic vs. the Pelicans 124-126 and I lost all hope that was left.

Again: It's not winning or losing that troubles me. It's the fact that I find no way to stop the AI from scoring. 126 points with reduced shooting sliders on Pro difficulty is a bad joke.

If I would try to make adjustments to your sliders, would you think it's better to:

                        - decrease the AI shooting sliders or offensive awareness slider further?
                        - increase my defensive sliders?

Or, my preferred solution: Is there a way to make my AI teammates defend?

Search by Online ID and put in TimSmooth (that isnt his full ID but is enough to search). His most recent rosters will appear, with the date of the update which is usually the same day. His rosters are ridiculously good.
