I have to disagree with playing this using last years sliders. Game is just too different this year and I see a few adjustments that need made that were not an issue last year. Likewise, there were many things that needed changed last year that does not need changed this year. It's all about getting the right "feel" first then adjusting for proper stats. I'm sure A&S will need the time testing and I'd rather wait and have a great set of sliders from him.

      Gentlemen,

This game is far different from 2K15. It feels like a new game to me. I am getting familiar with the new controls and the new tighter defense. I am testing and working on them.

It is going to take a little time so please be patient. But have no fear a "Regular Joe" Pro/Sim/Real FG/FT% set will be forth coming.

The game is pretty amazing. I am working on explosiveness for elite players, balancing defense, rebounding, fouls....all the usual stuff. But it will take some time before I put out a 1.0. I want the set to feel great out of the gate.

      Hang in there.

Just an observation A&S...I find too many rocket passes from CPU in the paint and homerun passes. I lowered attack basket & backdoor cuts to 0 and still see it happening. Then I went to MyLeague and set all coaching profiles Run Plays to 100 and it calmed down some. Just curious on your take.

Other areas that need tweeking: Offensive Rebounds, Fatigue, On ball, turnovers (not enough non steals) and most importantly the speed/accleration of the players. This is very important to me, as it is the driving force on what a smooth feel it gives. The lack of acceleration and variation between players need some work. I've messed with this and came up with a pretty good feel.

Just my 3 cents. Can't wait for your sliders!

I had to drop to Rookie off of last years set

CPU defense too strong for even bad defenders
Quickness and Passing too good for CPU is the only issues I see right now
No Offesenive Rebounds for Human at all which makes it one shot and done
Human will fatigue slower which gives CPU edge a few mins a quarter

I decided to start with a mismatch for my first game out of the box...Cavs vs Nuggets and man oh man did I ever have my hands full! Managed to win by 8 but it was no cakewalk, Mudiay was eating Kyrie alive! Only 4 offensive boards the entire game (1 for the Cavs by the muchly OP Lebron).

Ha ha....ok Hoops junkies I have made some real progress. I was up till 3:30 in the morning yesterday and a few things I am really focused on are:

Blocks - they are far to OP on default. So I am trying to find a realistic sweet spot for both the user and CPU. I ma seeing way too many for my taste. It's too easy to swat shot. Just too easy. They look amazing make no mistake. But it is not earned. It feels cheap.

Speed - players feel sluggish to me on default. I am working at quickness and blow by speed. You have to earn looks....I get that. And I run plays a lot but also like to free flow and improvise as well. I want to be able to iso and get by guys when I earn it and out of the box I feel like I am running into brick walls and everyone is all NBA defensive players. Again I am an Average Joe player.....not a 2K expert. I want to have fun too. The game is hard enough and it is an awesome simulation....but I want to find that balance and not become frustrated. It is a video game in the end. It is an amazing simulation though.....but I want to crack the code to get it to play just slightly looser without giving up simulation feel and style. That is always my goal.

Rebounds offensive and defensive - working on that

Fouls - as always working on those

Overall I can tell you I have some USER sliders higher than the CPU.....and that is because of my skill level and the difficulty of the AI this year. Just like 2K15 the game is no joke on Pro and to me always plays the best on Pro. No boosts. So it gives me a great base to work from (Pro/Sim).

I am really getting in a lot of lab time this weekend....we are close figure the working beta will be posted tomorrow night....maybe as early as late tonight...we shall see gents.

I haven't won yet on pro.

I agree that it's a awesome sim, but too much CPU cheese has turned me off the last few days, but I wanna play with the right sliders Pro isn't a joke if you play sim with cheating system

I lost my first four on Pro. I only won my first by using classic Bulls team. I agree some HUM are needed to be higher than CPU (for the average player). Any noticeable problems with CPU driving/rocket passing into paint?

And a 1.0 set tonight or tomorrow would be fantastic!
