I was playing as the Timberwolves and the Bucks.

I like your scores and %'s etc.... How many Minute qtrs? and are you using these exact slider set? I've had to drop to 10 or 11 min to keep scores from the 130 ppg range! If not using these what are you're rebounding settings?

I use 12 min quarters and have the exact slider set except I have the on-ball defense sliders on 75. I play on all-star btw.

Raised the boxout assist strength from 10 to 50 and changed a slider: On Ball Defense (Hum) from 1 to 75.

After struggling for a few games using the Cavaliers, I finally won against the Blazers in a close one ended in overtime. % are not bad and, i really like these slides, but the scores are very high. I don't know if it depends on my style or something else. Anyhow I'll continue to follow this thread becouse I'm enjoying these slides.

Going off-topic just for a while I'd like to know what kind of defensive setting you all are using, or tell me if you knew a valid guide, 'couse too often I struggle with making adjustment

Idk, I can't speak on some of the struggles that some of you are having defensively when I am having games like this. I played a game on the sliders in the original post and I just won a game opening night in 2016 of my Knicks Association on a blocked shot by Hassan Whiteside who I signed in Free agency...epic game, epic finish. Hassan had 8 points - 12 boards and 4 blocks...stats as per usual look amazing.





I mean look at the slow pacing of the game, look at the amount of free throws taken, this was a back and forth physical battle of slow pace basketball (Chicago barely turned the ball over!)

Shady Mike!!! I don't see what these people are talking about! I have played with every slider set on the forums and your sliders are the most realistic yet! These are great! I use your sliders and settings with Pokes audio presentation and his MyLeague sliders. This is a true simulation of NBA basketball! Thank you!

But I will say recently in the 2 games played vs spurs Duncan and Leonard both had 5 fouls before halftime obviously I attack alot but is that a slider issue or just the way I play?

I think a lot of peoples problems are, they are playing way too fast. I had this problem but slowed my game down slightly and now hardly get over 110 points. Currently doing a Bucks franchise and struggling against the top teams as I have no superstars.

Your probably right. With these sliders you have to play really smart make adjustments and know when to slow the tempo of the game that's what I like about it no easy wins l.

My only problem was that both the cpu and me had too many fouls.
Before the halftime a lot of players had 3 and 4 fouls

But other than that i can just say thank you mike these are just great!

Hey guys definitely need a little more insight on this, do you feel like the CPU is just knocking down too many jumpers or do you feel like they are finishing layups / contact layups too much? I definitely believe there are too many FT's being taken, but that slider is extremely sensitive. Right now here is what I am considering changing :

Contact shot success - 25/0
Mid Range success - 50/45
On-Ball Defense - 30/1

Shooting Foul - 67/67

If I could get a few of you to play a game or 2 with these tweaks I think that should help...That said I really had no intention of raising the on-ball defense tbh. Cycloniac built his slider set around the 1/1 and that is definitely something that I also wanted to stick with because honestly I was sick of getting clothes-lined at half-court with the slider at 75. With that there is just way too much bumping for simulation basketball. That said I definitely want good defenders to stand out and I want help you guys get this game as balanced as possible!
