Just wanted to let u know these are the bomb.
Absolutely the best set out there IMO.
It's hard to explain but with this set the games plays and looks like real NBA bball.
I left for a while and tried a few other sets but this set is where it's at, thank you.

Jake, thank you. I just got my butt whipped by the Clippers (I'm using the Kings) to start the season 0-1. I'm still learning this game some for sure, but I set these sliders up in a way that I'll grow into them. You guys are a lot better than me.

My last stream from today you can see the game/player stats if you skip towards the end of the video. I also went through and compared my game stats to simulated games around the league, and things looked even better than I had imagine.

Mike man, typing off a phone so excuse any typos. Had to find my account just to ask someone who cares as much as me, what's your points in the paint looking like? With such low numbers (I've gotta from as low as 8 a game to as high as 28) it's completely messed up mygm for me. Currently got about 180 win in the gauntlet because I can't play the mode I really would like to. Have you had any luck?
Just wanna thank you and everyone trying to make the game better as we see it. Operationsports is a site that lets me know I'm not weird for being crazy about my sports sim. Thanks again.

I just checked, and in our first game the Clippers had 32 PIP and we had 44 (I go to Cousins in the low post a lot). We are 2nd in NBA in PIP per game and Clippers are 6th in the league.

Might not be seeing enough steals for my team, but what are others seeing? This might be a Kings issue. Seems turnovers are a bit low in general for both sides.

Also, what are others seeing as far as number of fouls called?

Played three more games tonight, still loving these.
Couple things still need tweaked from what I am seeing.
1. Fg% a tad too high.
I shoot over 50% every game. In my games tonight I shot 56, 54, and 52 %.
Same with computer they shoot right around 50% each game.
This leads to high scores as I am averaging 113 ppg, CPU 108 vs me.

2. CPU does not shoot enough 3s.
Just played the Hawks and they only shot 10.
CPU typically shoots about 10-12, they need to shoot a lot more.

3. I kill the CPU in fast break points.
I average about 30 a game the CPU about 12.
They just don't seem to run once they get a rebound the walk the ball up.

That's my 2 cents. Still love playing the game with this set.
I am 9-3 in my Cavs season, the Hawks just whooped me 115-105.
They really play team ball and fed Horford the whole game.
Love this game and these settings!

To answer your questions.
I seeing plenty of ft attempts.
I average 22 per game CPU about 18.
And I too do not get many steals.

Ok, so steals need to be bumped. Trying to decide what the best way of doing that is; it's not that we need balls being thrown out of bounds to generate turnovers, we actually need the STEALS stat to be registered by more players on both sides throughout a game, right?

We have three options to explore:
Steal Success
Stealing
Go for On-Ball Steals

Since we don't want to mess with fouls right now, it seems the one to focus our energy on would be the second choice: Steals. Success may lower fouls, and Go for On-Ball Steals may increase them.

Let's try Stealing at 55/55? Or 60/60?

I wonder why some folks vote down others' slider posts? Perhaps to inflate the "value" of their own?

I won't be reciprocating as that's not what makes for a strong community.

Are u not seeing high fg%? I have yet to shoot under 50% in a game.
Any recommendations on getting lower fg%?

Nope, I'm not seeing any stats out of wack when compared around the league outside of MY team steals. We lead in PIP, but I go to Cousins often, and like to drive the lane quite a bit with this pick and roll team.

Steals at 60 is a bit too high.
Lots of turnovers it really affects the game a lot.
U turn the ball over a lot when u or the CPU drives the lane.

Sweet spot exists somewhere in that range. Let's try 55.
