    Re: Mike Lowe NBA2K16 Sliders

I finally have settled into my season. I'm going back to MyGM as it's just too well done to ignore. It's truly awesome!

I just streamed the last 90 seconds of our first game, pulling out the victory at home against the Clippers.

Sliders and stats are reviewed on that stream as well, and they're truly beautiful, even compared around the rest of the league.

The only issue I'm seeing is that my Kings simply don't force enough steals/turnovers. Perhaps this is just a biproduct of our team, but what are the rest of you seeing?

Uploaded version 14 which should increase steals and also blocks a little bit.

My Kings are 1-1 after losing to the Lakers in OT. Kobe tied the game in regulation with a jumper with 1 second left.

Mike- are ur shooting %'s pretty high?
I have been shooting over 50% every game.
The CPU is just about perfect as the shoot between 42-47% each game.
        Any suggestions?

Mine could be slightly high, but I work to shoot from inside and on fast breaks a lot.

Through 3 games, we're 2-1 (beating Clippers twice, but losing to Lakers in OT lol). Here are some stats and rankings:

          PPG 14th 104.7
          FG% 8th 47.3% (19th in attempts)
          3P% 4th 39.1% (13th in attempts)
          PIP 1st 50.7

What are the CPU FG % vs you?
I am currently 15-3 with the TWolves.
Before you laugh too much, the early season schedule isn't that tough for the TWolves.
I haven't played any of the big time West teams except the Warriors and they pounded my 121-75.
I am shooting 49% as a team, CPU is shooting 43% vs me.
I need to find a way to lower my %, I am thinking about lowering my mid and 3pt sliders down a couple notches.
Part of the problem I see too is it is too easy for me to get to the basket for easy dunks with Wiggins and Lavine.
Also thinking about upping the CPU a notch.

Here are the same opponent stats in reverse order through just 3 games. So these are ranked from a defensive point of view, where the highest ranking (1st) would mean the best defense against in that category.

              PPG 18th 101.7
              FG% 10th 42.6% (10th in attempts)
              3P% 29th 42.6% (16th in attempts)

              That's not a typo--same % for FG and 3P.

So perhaps they could use a boost in jump shots, but not 3s?

Yes, I seeing the same thing.
The CPU shoots fine from 3pt range, but they struggle with mid range jumpers.
I am shooting way too high from 3pt range too! The Wolves are the worst 3pt shooting team in the league in real life I believe. I am shooting 41%, should be much lower.

Mike, I really enjoy the role playing aspect of MyGM versus MyLeague, but injuries on the user side are so far and between. How are you countering this in your franchise?

Wouldn't we just lower the durability slider? Does that affect simulated games?

                    Try it at 40-45.

In regards to the shooting peecentages, I made some adjustments to mid-range succes for both sides, 3PT for user, and increased AI on-ball defense and defensive awareness.

I have uploaded these to 2kShare, version 15.

I honestly have not tried lowering it as I do not always know how one slider impacts another. In MyLeague, injuries occur to both the user and cpu during "In game" contests. In MyGm, injuries will occur to the user if a game is simulated but extremely sparingly during "in game" contests, but then again, I have never adjusted the durability slider. I may look to do so because as I previously stated, I miss the role playing aspect.

So strange that we increase the AI shooting ability, and then Memphis has an abysmal game shooting 38% and scoring just 74 points.

Kings improve to 3-1 winning 82-74, shooting 46% themselves.

Memphis was just 2/11 from 3PT while Kings were 5/15.

Sloppy game. Kings had 18 turnovers, Grizzlies 10.

I have told my buddy that plays all the time too, that I really think there are games that the sliders do not effect the game.
I honestly just think some games are destined to be sloppy. About every 4th or 5th game I play is full of turnovers, easy missed shots, and very choppy gameplay. It is just really weird.
I have tried almost every set on this site and honestly at the end of the day they all play the same for me. I usually win, I usually shoot about 50%, the CPU usually shoots around 45%, no matter what settings I use.

With that being said I am excited to try out your latest update tonight. You addressed everything I am seeing.
