I hope ACE is working properly , sometimes nothing is selected on team focus defense when ACE is on.

Going to try your 2k16 slider set, at least for cpu/user offense, see what happens.

New patch has improved GAmeplay. Hoping you can test and update your sliders. Lots of people are saying the game plays say better and more natural on pro, but it's a tad too easy.

I am fighting this now, lol. I want the new version, I just don't think I'll play it enough having FIFA, Football Manager (coming soon), Madden, and MLB TS.

Probably just stick w/ 16 when I need an NBA fix...

I am very comfortable with my settings on the OP post patch. I will have a more challenging set soon so hang in there.

Keep in mind these are Regular Joe Sliders and are not for seriously advanced 2K players.

I am using these sliders user vs user. Looks perfect just fg percentage. How to adjust to get worse percentage? Now fg about 50 always, 3pt about 40%. Should i adjust defensive sliders or offensive? Or consistency? Love offense, just maybe too much easy buckets from the paint.

Re: Armor & Swords NBA 2K17 Pro Custom Real FG%/FT% Regular Joe Sliders

Here's the thing about field goal attempts:

If you don't work the clock and find opportunity, you'll see a higher amount of attempts because either:

                A) A person's tendency is to jump on the FIRST opportunity, then consequently get second, third, or more chances at a bucket. Before you know it, you'll see those attempts rise because the flow of the game is conducive to more. Especially when you're playing teams like GS whose whole offensive attack is to bury you early and often versus teams like the Spurs whose offense is based on ball control and optimization of opportunity.

                B) You don't work the idea that interior defense is easily exploited. If you can get your opposition in trouble early or often, your attempts will drop and your FT attempts will rise. Conversely, if you're getting fouled and getting no-calls or getting blocked in the box, your attempts will also rise because those COUNT.

If you're taking more than 90 in a game, you better be in a shootout from the opening tip or you're pillaging the ball from your opponent and generating more possessions because of it. There just isn't any reason to take more because of a lack of ball control and execution of the game plan. Here's why:

                1) 24 second possession time, maximum. Practically speaking, each team will get an extra possession every other minute. Meaning, team that wins the opening tip/inbound will get a second possession every minute. Assuming, there are no turnovers and any stops in play don't affect the shot clock. Basically, make a decent attempt to control the pace of the game by being responsible with the ball. Any way you slice it, you'll have to manage the ball that's conducive to this philosophy: They can't score if they don't have the ball OR they can't win if I can put up more per attempt than they can. Good example is being a defensive instigator creating turnovers for the former. Using Golden State is a good example of the latter.

Furthermore, if the average conversion on a scoring possession is less than 50%, you'll miss more than you make. Factor in a theoretical possession, the team that wins the toss will have the ball less. So, you'll convert on an attempt once every 45 seconds if you instigate the flow of the game. Conversely, you'll have a conversion once every 75 seconds if you have to respond. This window of time will be significantly lower or higher depending on how well you dictate the flow of the game. Lower being that you control the ball more. Higher being that you are being controlled.

                2) Turning the ball over eliminates possessions/creates possessions for you. The more you have the ball, the more you will attempt to score. Just simple mathematics for you.

Basically, the style you play will curtail or expand the volume of your shot selection. Gotta know how to be efficient with the ball and yes, you can be efficient with the ball and NOT shoot a high amount.

A new Red set is on the OP for a higher level degree of challenge at the Pro level.

                  Enjoy.

Using the non red set for myself personally. I played a bunch of games with the red set and it was very tough for me. Too tough actually. But I know a lot of people wanted a tougher Pro set and this red set should provide a lot more CPU fire power on Pro.

I played one game with the red set in my Celtics MyLeague, so it's a small sample size, but my initial impression is that I've got to get my user FG% down. I think I'll start with slightly lowering the shooting sliders, but I'm not sure if I should adjust offensive consistency or the CPU defensive awareness, as well. I was pretty happy with the CPU's performance overall. Their numbers were really solid actually. Offensive rebounds were high, but that's because Drummond is a beast.

Sliders are great, my only issue is I seem to be able to steal the ball from the computer fairly easily. Any suggestions on what slider I might adjust
