Test them if you can sometime today. You will love what you see. I read a blog regarding contested shots and I have updated my sliders to allow for some contested shots with hands in the face to go in. All about the defence sliders. Its a buzz seeing some shots go in. With regular defence sliders, 99% of contested shots miss, but with mine, shots that you expect to miss, sometimes go in. Test and you will realise
Sounds interesting. To be honest, most teams take in the range of 80-90 FGA a game (81.5-89.1 to be exact). Only 1 team takes less than 80 shots a game this season and that's the Utah Jazz who take 77.7. I bumped shooting up to 42 on mine, so some contests should fall although i was already hitting some on 41.

The game hasn't changed too much Bro. Just fixed rebounding, maxed out hustle, and increased shooting by 1.

Eggie!!!! THANK YOU! This game plays infinitely better with your changes! The CPU wasn't wasting time while running their offense. They were actually zipping the ball around and moving off the ball! The movement felt fantastic! The rebounding felt like there was actually a battle for the boards! I felt that the controls were super responsive. Which is thanks to your changes in the game speed and acceleration sliders. Also the difference between fast players and slow players is huge now. Which is great! When using Westbrook I could feel his athleticism! Now I know I scored 47 in this game, but look at the FGA from Westbrook. It was a legitimate 47! I wasn't just hoisting up shots. Most of his points came from the free throw line. The game just felt amazing! But some things I noticed were that I had quite a few blocks, and that I had quite a bit of points in the paint. But I think the points in paint are due to the fact that Schroder guarded Russ all game. So that was a huge mismatch in the paint. Especially with Russ having the ability to post up. I also think it speaks to the fact that ACE doesn't actually work. Because I feel like maybe Thabo should have been guarding Russ but whatever. Nonetheless it was great experience and these are now the sliders I will be using!

Anyway here are my box scores:

Thanks. Blocks are high at times. Kinda hard to find that balance because when it's lower the players don't swing to block the shot many times. Also your points in the paint are fine. Okc leads the league with an average of 50.5 points per game in the paint. So your 48 is fine. I'm on top of stats lol.

No prob. Try my new update and see how it goes. Post your box score if you don't mind please. Westbrook has me a little curious. I'm hoping my sliders aren't too easy for him lol. He's a beast.

Hi Eggie25, which roster do you use or suggest with your sliders?
              THX!

Nothing specific. Use any roster. I use whatever 2k puts out. My sliders are universal. Hope you enjoy. Let me know how it goes for you.

Good, good, good sliders... maybe but MAYBE a lot of free throws for the user but I have to test them in more games.

Thanks. Free-Throws will vary but us as users are generally more aggressive than the CPU. The CPU looks to score in more ways than we do for the most part. Most users when they have the lane will try and go all of the way to draw fouls. The CPU will do so also, but many times you may see them stop and take a pull up shot. Post team stats of your next game if you don't mind.

And what about NON shooting fouls?
                      Do you see any?

I do indeed see them. Just not often enough for some.

To everyone who has downloaded my updates today, sorry for misleading you. I kept updating with several changes i would make but then i wouldn't be satisfied. My newest official update came at 12/19/2016 at 1:15 PM ET.

Game still plays great man! [emoji4]I'm feeling a little under the weather or else I'd say more. But I'm just happy with the overall experience. This is with the latest update by the way.

Checking out your sliders now. Couple questions:

                            1) What's the idea behind 100 on ball defense? What are you seeing when trying to drive the lane? IRL defenders always get blown by and beat off the dribble. Sometimes it's not even a dribble move, it's just a quick first step. It's not always easy to finish and score with defenders crowding the lane and protecting the rim. Also if the on ball defender does a half decent job they'll still be on their hip. In 2K, I find it hard enough as it is to dribble drive and really explode past a defender without getting stuck or seeing that weird bumping animation. That's at default 50. Maxed out at 100 sounds impossible for defense to play out like RL. I find 2K already has on ball defense OP as off ball defense is broken and bigs don't protect the rim like RL. I feel defense is backwards in 2K. On ball defense should really be toned down where as help defense + off ball defense + paint protection really needs to be improved upon. IMO.

                            2) What's the idea behind rebounding at 1 and 0? How does that play out? Just haven't seen that before. Looks interesting.

Thanks in advance. I'll definitely give these a go.

Well 2k's sliders are a little weird in the sense that if you change one, it can alter other areas of the game. The 100 doesn't mean they will lock you up. It just effects part of the defensive intelligence combined with defensive awareness and defensive consistency. I was about making the Defense a little better while allowing the offense to take advantage. You will notice a difference in the speed of players where if you have a guy who is fast and has decent handle, you can get to anywhere on the court if you truly know what you are doing and not throwing random dribble moves. The cpu will help you off ball with these sliders but not all of the time. See the court and be able to switch when needed. The rebounding sliders were actually something I figured out some time ago. With defensive at 0 they focus more on boxing out. With offensive at 1, it allows them to try and get around the defender and go for the ball. Either way, rebounding is now more about positioning and a little less about ratings though ratings and badges still play a major role. When you try the sliders, you will see that it's exactly what you see everyone else saying. Getting to the basket won't be a problem, just make sure your finishing releases and decision making around the hole are decent lol. Let me know about your experience.
