I would not worry about the possession too much. Detroit liked to throw the ball into Drummond and I walled him off a lot with Hibbert and Steven Adams (I traded for him) so he would half to kick it out and move the ball around. I also like to play up tempo and I only run a play like 1 out of 4 times down the court. Thanks and keep up the great work! Looking forward to final set.

Yep. The beta is not stable and hasn't been tested thoroughly. Hence why I am not updating anything yet. Id like to thank you, and everyone else who has tested. I will be throwing out one now.Comment

Yeah 1.19 definitely was the foundation of making 2k playable for me again. Thanks for all you hard work, I don't have a doubt you'll cook up something to top it in the near future.

CPU (Memphis)
User (Pacers)
Was tied at the end of the 3rd, but as soon as I rested my starters Memphis went on a run. Personally, I think these are it. The game runs fluid, great ball movement etc..I'm using the new beta slidersComment

Lakers(Me) @ Detroit(CPU)
Wow. If this isn't it, man your pretty darn close.
Beta 6 test with the special touch of a nba today game.
12 minute quarters
Real Player %
Defensive Assist Strength - 0
Box Out Assist - 0
Automatic Contest - Always
Best game of 2k17 I've ever played. Started this game off winning 16-3 with 7 minutes left in the 1st and finished the first quarter up 27-23.
First thing to note (and the only eye sore of the whole test game) is my 5/27(19%) 3pt percentage. The fact that I don't shoot the highest quality of shots but in quantity I feel had a noticeable impact alone, which I liked. No, I don't run down and shoot a three with my best shooter every play. But what do try to do is drive and kick until there's a look I consider good quality, and I don't try to make possession longer than they need to be. I always shoot 3s in translation with a capable shooter. Again the shooting being only eye sore didn't bother the gameplay at all which is why i feel this set is nearly golden.
The 2 major things I see that makes this set great is that the user and CPU slashing is completely functional, and the user defense is rewarding. I've seen better and more realistic slashing finishes in this one game than I have ever before. I also allowed stretches of 10-12 points a couple of times, yet held them scoreless or to a basket or two in
5-6 minutes stretch. Everything about it felt authentic, and the CPU made plenty of big plays that made them feel alive too.
Man look at these box scores i might have to post the actual game box scores tonight too and compare lol [emoji23]

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
Adavis glad you enjoyed the beta 6. Can't wait to see your next few games with them to see how it holds up. The changes to the 'defensive' mechanisms seem to have helped. Only more testing can tell us for good.
Everything in that boxscore looked legit. Maybe the Pistons didn't shoot much from 3, but probably an isolated incident . It does happen in real life. Let's see how the next game goes

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
Lost a tight one!! Why you no intentional foul when I command you to intentional foul controller!? That's happened more than once in 2k17 for me. Guess I should spam the steal button in those moments.
This Beta 6 set rivals the 1.19 set. Definitely much improved from the other betas, which is to be expected. I originally plugged them into my current MyGM but after a quarter I felt I wouldn't get the best results because of my opponent - Hawks. They don't have Millsap in my current season & Schroder is injured, so the game got out of hand for them very quickly.
Will try them in a different matchup within my season...BUT I did decide to give the Hawks another chance by playing a NBA Today game against them as the Nuggets. Both teams struggled to put up points early on but started to pick it up later in the game. Smooth/realistic gameplay. It was enjoyable.
I feel like there's been some rubberbanding going on with 2k lately, which was really the only issue I had with this game aside from the international foul that never was. Nuggets were fun to play as, especially Jokic.
