Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
Here is a game against the Heat. I used play now. Not sure if there's a difference. I was very impressed with how the game flowed and how the CPU attacked the paint and generally had a variety of plays etc. Turnovers felt great this time. You have done it again Crew. How do you do it haha.Attached FilesComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
I killed the CPU in blocks, but I actually had blocks at 47/100 instead of the 45/99 I think it was in the beta? My bad there. Will change it up and play another game.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
Is there any way to change how the CPU boxes out? I just had a ton of CPU guard boxing out my bigs all night. It's ridiculous because I'm trying to fight over the box out, but I just got out-rebounded really badly.Comment

Nice to see Napoli. Will increase the tendencies to hopefully get the CPU to draw more fouls on a consistent basisComment

OP has been updated. The experimental set has undergone some changes. I would suggest using the beta and also the experimental set and posting what you see. I think im onto something even more specialLast edited by creweutah; 02-28-2017, 08:20 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
TWO HUGE changes have been made to the beta set. I must give credit to Shady Mike and also his buddy's on another forum for this idea, all credit goes to them, I want to make this clear. This has made rebounding much much much better and I couldn't be happier. Having it at 53 for Off and 85 for Def rebounds has given me more fluid animations in this department. Thank you to Shady Mike and the poster who mentioned this. I think it was "I Hate Monday's" . All credit to them.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
So I tried the experimental sliders and I liked it but it needs work in 3 aspects rebounds and-ones and defense, rebounds i felt there were a lot of offensive rebounds and players like leonard were dominating, and-ones like 60% of fouls were an and-one and in defense caldwell pope just slept so many times i know he isn't the best defender but he felt like he had 10 defensive awareness, so here's my game next i'm gonna do one with the beta sliders

I love this game maybe too many rebounds but gortat dominated the game wasn't so easy as it seems they kept on coming back but in the 4th i went so many times to the post that they started doubling and thst created a lot of wide open 3's

And one thing i forgot to mencion abou the experimental sliders is that i loved the ball movement of the cpu and the way they attacked the paint and turnovers maybe too low but i have to do more games to see

Re: NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set (HOF, Real FG%)
Latest beta test featuring NBA today game Hornets @ Lakers(Me).
Sliders making major progress towards fluid simulation style basketball.
A few notes;
First thing is shooting percentages.
I came out in full control of this game and a decently efficient offense given I was the not so great lakers. On the other hand the hornet came out 0-9 from three, yet poured it on me in the 2nd half. Great thing too see!
User turnovers where high but I don't feel a major change needed in that department. The numbers are a bit exaggerated in the test due to a few excessive dribble moves that caused the ball the drop and be picked up by the defender (poorly timed spins primarily). Besides this point it was a great challenge to try and thread the needle on passes with the CPU hands slider tuned up. Overall great experience here
Another note, we dominated the boards with the new sliders (53 off , 85 def ). Not quite ready to say this needs adjustment with just one test but it's something we should definitely pay attention too. Not too many factors influencing this since we also got to the line more frequently and shot less FGs.. which leads to the next point.
Free throws! Great job lately with getting the CPU too the line more often, I know it's a tough adjustment to make while keeping the game organic. My only concern here other then a bit low free throw attempt in 1 trial run, is the frequently high amount of user free throws. I find it a tad easy too draw fouls with the slider set too 40, seems like it was a little better balance at 34 previously.. tried 36 in the last few minutes of this game and still got to the line at will.
These things being said the stats speak for themselves. by no means was the game unrealistic and it was 100% enjoyable throughout. Loving the progress crew, keep up the great work.

Also CPU shot tendencies may be a bit high. Granted, they do help promote CPU free throw attempts, a quick look at time of possession and the fact that I didn't fast break much at all opting to run half court sets and get good looks. Just another thing to look at if we're knit picking for perfection! Salute
