    Played another game and it seems like giving user layup and contact shot a boost of a few points would be helpful. And there are still too many wide open mid range shots missed by the user in my opinion

      Is this using the beta?? Play 2-3 games and let me know if its still an issue. I will tinker with the shooting sliders.

        Using the beta yeah, I'll give it a few more games but just letting you know.
        The great thing is so far all the games I played were different even though all went down to the wire.
        Never seen a team running away in the second quarter on this game till now

          This was a me (Warriors) vs. the CPU(Spurs) game, using the latest beta version with gamespeed set at 54.








          I'm going to say this right now, IMHO the beta set is already better than the v1.20.
          From the small things, like the overall feel of the new game speed (with the game speed set at 59, the players moved kinda slow in comparison to the speed of a passed ball, now there is an actual balance between those two, nothing weird visually speaking), to the big things like the actual overall stats, I find the beta better.
          To tell you the story behind my boxscores, first of all I lead by 20-27 from the 6th minute of the 3rd quarter until the last 5 minutes of the game. The Spurs raised their FG% and lowered the point deficit in those last minutes because I was rocking benchwarmers on my court, while Pop was using starters (that's on 2k's logic). Of course Leonard had his way with McAdoo or whoever was on my court at that moment. Pop would sub out his starters the whole 4th quarter if necessary, but again, that's 2k's job to fix that sub logic.
          Second of all, because I was leading by a lot of points a big part of the game, the Spurs would always try to score as fast as possible, no clock burning. I can see that happening in real life. Also, the Spurs did play like the Spurs. They took shots from anywhere, tried every type of offense (they are very versatile in real life), doubled teammed me, etc.
          Thirdly, without doing it on purpose (I just let myself have fun and go on with the flow of the game), I had a very realistic GSW-like game:
          Close 1st quarter, opponent leads by a few at some point -> Consistent 2nd quarter by the GSW, many transition points, game turned around in a heartbeat ( those moments when GSW trail but then you go to the bathroom and when you come back, GSW lead by 12 because of their transition offense) -> Even though the gap is big, opponent manages to get closer and stay in the game by the halftime -> Killer 3rd quarter, opponent tries one more time to hang on, by the last minutes of the 3rd quarter they finally give up -> Easy peasy 4th quarter, Benchwarmers subbed in, BLOWOOOUUUTTTT..... That's pretty much the story of their playoff run this season.
          Finally, even though I use my custom roster, don't think GSW is overpowered. They are actually rated as the 2nd best team in the game, right behind the Spurs. Also, this set of sliders is still competitive. The Warriors had an advantage in transition while the Spurs preffered a faster offense rather than their usual PnR patient offense ( I see that happening in real life with Tony Parker going down and Mills getting the ball more).

          Keep it going Crewe, great stuff


          P.S. What the hell is wrong with this game's basic algebra?
          Judging by my first screenshot, my team would have 47 + 12 = 59 rebounds
          The second screenshot states that GSW had 50 rebounds. I summed up the numbers myself and I also get 50 rebounds. So what's wrong with that team comparison menu? What am I getting wrong lol?

            Thanks for the quick game and following it with some feedback. I did a few tests myself and I am liking the game speed at 54. 59 was also very good, but sometimes I saw things I didn't like. The movement of the game was good, but at times alley oops, dunks, slick passes, and put back animations did not really seem organic sometimes due to the game speed being at 59. Things seem better balanced now, and some animations look to be playing out a little smoother. Still more testing is required on my end, but the early signs are great.

            Great to know you loved the Beta compared to my V1.20. Will continue to test and tweak, and will update the OP and eventually have the Beta become the new and improved V1.21

                  Hey man. I tried your Beta set. I really love it. Its different to your v1.20, but in a good way. Like you mentioned, the balance feels right between the animations and the speed in general. 54 game speed and your attributes is a match made in heaven, thank you for the hard work. You could have stopped tweaking months ago, but you have done it again and have recreated an even better set. Can't thank you enough.

                      Had another game with the Kings vs Grizzlies, one of the best games I've ever had.
                      2OTs and an amazing end to the first OT with a three from Lonzo Ball (who dropped to pick 3 in the draft because reasons) followed by a steal and a mid range shot to tie it up.

                      I seem to have found my adjusments to the sliders by upping user mid range to 42 and contact shot success to 35, but still getting weird results every now and then, suppose it's more of a coding thing than a simple slider adjusment, but the beta is ready IMO, you'll decide on the mid range slider.

                        Ok I'll have to try these sliders because I've pretty much gave up on the other one.

                        The CPU cheating and unrealistic come back is terrible. CPU shoots more FT than I do and a lot of the fouls I am sucked into the shooter even though I'm jumping backwards.

                        2K 2nd qtr combacks, 4th qtr shooting, and CPU always make my man take the ball out so slow or take it out only to pass it in so another player can take it out is killing my gameplay.

                        This game always allows the CPU defense to set up in the fourth I can't run at all.
                        The CPU plays defense by making your players bobble easy passes, stop running when you are cutting, don't respond to my buttons on defense, don't trigger animations in the paint, miss layups over and over again, player will be cutting only to hit a force field to help the CPU play defense, and none shooters are 40%+ 3pt shooters in the 4th.

                        And yes the game cheats especially in the 4th.

                                Yeah playing nicely as it is. Don't see the point in making tweaks every few hours lol. Defeats the purpose. Tweaks take a while to be implemented fully and this is why I like to test thoroughly before I update anything, or at least give an indication that I will be making any changes.
