Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
From playing with the shooting at 40, I think user timing should be set along with the real% version. Since this month has started, I've received a lot of love in my inbox and I think this set has come a long way. For what 2k has given us to work with, this set has become the set others are slowly catching on to and realizing where it truly stands. Thanks for the love everyone, and your support of the real deal. Let's all enjoy.Comment

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
You have made great progress Bro. I love the realism your sliders bring. At first the cpu was shooting a high % against me but then I realized it was because I had to step up on D and guard the cpu in certain situations myself because 2k let's the cpu miss more when the user doesn't cheat and have the cpu play all of the defense. Now I can contain the cpu big time by mixing up when I play defense. I love it.
1. I love the speed difference of the players. When I get a first step on the bugs, I can attack the paint strong.
2. With the defensive settings you posted earlier, rotations on defense have improved big time. I feel like I actually can stop teams at key moments and not get abused by pick and roll cheese.
3. The cpu plays more like themselves while being competitive. They will hit tough shots while not being cheesy and scoring on only scrap plays. I have never seen offense like this. I've seen post ups, isolations, pick and rolls, pick and fades, cuts, give and go's...you name it, consistently. Most sets simply have the cpu taking a bunch of 3's or finding a cut under the basket. Though not 100% perfect, yours are pretty versatile and come closest to real NBA action.
4. As mentioned earlier, user defensive skill actually matters. If you only let the cpu play D, sure the cpu will help a lot but the opposing cpu will hit more shots. Eggie has made it possible to contain the cpu enough to maintain a great balance. The cpu used to shoot almost 60% against me lol. Now I keep the cpu around 40-48% consistently. User defense matters with this set.
5. This set is competitive and games vary. There have been games where I win big and lose big. There also have been games that come down to the final possession. Once i improve a little more, i will lower the user shooting just for more of a challenge.
6. Speed matters. I've been able to take advantage of pick and rolls, as well as fastbreak. It's not cheesy at all and it's balanced nicely. I've been able to create mismatches all over the court. I would mix in some isomotion and have the cpu on skates. Sometimes I would finish in the paint, or with a pull up jumper, or a drive and dish.
7. I have had awesome user on ball steals which have been beautiful to see while the other team is dribbling the ball. Steal success at 52 has been a welcomed addition. I was getting tired of only seeing strips on layups or pass interceptions. Now I've actually seen other steal animations like the ball being popped up into the air, the ball being knocked behind the offensive player, etc.
This has been the best experience I've had to date. Thanks Eggie.Comment

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
Eggie, thank you for all the time and effort you've put into these sliders. Really enjoying these so far. I am playing through a MyLeague Player Lock season and working on getting the most realistic statistical games that I can. Wanted to post a few screens for you.
Game vs. Memphis, CPU shooting set at 37. Decided to bump from here as it is a pretty darn low and there were some open jumpers they were missing and contested post shots by guys like Gasol and Randolph that should go in some of the time. I am wondering if User shooting affects the guys on my team even though I'm player locking. I have a feeling it does.
Next game @ Atlanta, bumped CPU shooting to 40, user shooting is also on 40. Big time blowout, 1st quarter we were already up 10+. Defensively we were on point which obviously helped limit their opportunities. Wondering if I should nerf user shooting to 37.
Next game @ Miami, bumped CPU shooting up to 50, user shooting at 40. Three-quarters were competitive, Miami kept it sort of close but got blown out in the 4th. I didn't expect it to be super competitive since our team was ranked a fair bit higher than theirs.
Still considering taking user shooting down a few pegs. Next game is against the Warriors so I want to see how these play vs a really good team before I make adjustments.Comment

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
Here we go. User shooting at 37 CPU at 50. These played awesomely. Orlando had a ten point lead going into the fourth, Vucevic was killing in the paint and Gordon was hitting some threes but we were able to turn it on and go on a 13-5 run to take it.
Part of the trick on player lock is to not cheese the cpu too bad. I can run off-ball backdoor cuts so easily that it's almost a cheat move so I have to put a moratorium on those if I want competitive games.
These seem solid to me, going with these from here on out

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
I had a fun game vs the Spurs. I couldn't stop Gasol. He looked young again. I had the Spurs shooting below 50% but they got hot and finished above 50%. I got the win regardless. (User Timing. User 40, Cpu 50).Last edited by Eggie25; 04-19-2017, 08:30 AM.Comment

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
I have to quit this game.dont know what to do.wizards just scored 75 on half against me.impossible to defend 1-1, every cut to the basket is easy 2 points.every player get stuck to the pick and leave shooters open all the time.Help defense is totallly uselesss in this game..no fun of trying to play defense, totally unrewarding in this game....Comment

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread
No need to post this in everyone's thread. Im sure not all of it is the games fault. The cpu helps some of the time, and others you need to switch. You need to read situations. Also, I have talked about cpu shooting levels in the first post to make it easier on everyone. Download the latest update I made. Move cpu shooting to 37. Make the to defensive changes I said to make a while back. Play a game, and get back to me.Comment
