Ok I want to clarify this.

You can play with both the Gold and Red set's on any level you want. Pro, All-Star, Superstar and Hall Of Fame.

The difference is the ACE engine will be utilized to it's fullest on Superstar and Hall Of Fame. Playing this slider set on Hall of Fame will be exactly the same as Superstar.

However playing it on All-Star vs Pro will be slightly different because ACE is utilized a little more by the CPU on All-Star than on Pro.

I suggest if you are a true Regular Joe, start on Pro. If after 15-20 games you are feeling like it has gotten too easy....I would go straight to Superstar.

I am loving Gold on Superstar. This is my wheelhouse right now. For some they may love Red on Pro, or All-Star or Superstar.

The goal was to establish two base sets (Gold and Red) and you guys can tweak and feel them out and get them to your personal wheelhouse.

Gold Pro here, game is great, do not even care about todays madden patch, as it is just a MUT gift. I have not played Madden in weeks thanks to 2K, Fifa, and surprise, NHL. games into my rebuild hawks chise where I am 2-4, enjoying every minute of it.

I was the Thunder here. They made a run here and there, but never had the lead while I had up to an 18 point lead. The Jazz really slow the game down thus the lowered number of shots
taken...

They really do and I like it. They punch the ball inside because they don't have many shooters

Playing with the Warriors it's night and day. You will not go 82-0 with a bad or average team no matter how good you think you are. Bench matters.

Some people are trying so hard to match NBA stats that it will ruin the game for you. Stop trying and enjoy the game and if you don't do 30 team control you can't complain about stats. I have done 30 team control since they let us for this reason. The game owns my soul.

still a bit confused, I downloaded gold off of PSN Share, does that mean its at superstar?

Or should I go to SS then manually enter each slider instead to be sure?

Set your difficulty to superstar in the sliders then load the slider set. The difficulty will change from superstar to custom.

Hey Armor I think like a week ago maybe longer you said something about the controller settings like pass target direction you where going to look into and I haven't seen you say any thing about those. I am just wondering are you still looking into those? I am not even sure like what they do lol.

You can set it to whatever you want. The point is that the initial setting dictates the amount of ACE involvement. Higher difficulties = more ACE = better game play.
At least that's the theory. There's definitely a noticeable difference between starting on pro and superstar when using the exact same sliders. Try it for yourself.

That is correct. And the CPU plays a better game and makes better adjustments on the higher levels.

We adjust the sliders to get rid of the CPU cheese and make it a more fair playing ground vs the CPU.

To me Superstar is the best level on this years game. I noticed a wonderful and highly noticeable difference in not only the ACE adjustments for my teams, but the CPU playing smarter.

Still testing different set-ups.

It basically controls what drives directional passing. Weighting more to openess vs the direction of the stick when you pass etc.
