you have hardcap off, what consequences does it have and will have have to apply some house rules to myself and/or intervene with some stuff the cpu does under those settings?

It gives you all the flexibility to make sure big name players don’t sing 1 yr minimums with any team.

You can easily institute house rules by simply going around the league and doing extensions (in-season yourself) or letting guys walk. SO it is all up to you. But in testing with the hard cap on I found too many big time guys (Kevin Durant for example) going to places I would never in my wildest dreams think and signing 1 yr minimum deals because the CPU does not manage their cap space well.

It is the warts of the AI GM’s. So I will go around he league and do some cool storylines and use a random number generator to determine some movement or non movement and also not allow small market teams to go way over what would be their hard cap if it were on.

The great thing is 2K gives us all the power to do as much or as little. And in this case most of us are sim heads and want some semblance of realism. You can control that as much as you want.

I personally don’t go crazy with micromanagement, but I do create m own storylines with the trade deadline and off season. It's fun for me.

My League Sliders V 1.5 updated.
        What has changed?

Injury Severity to 45 (from 25)
Injury Duration to 45 (from 25)

        Why?

Patch 1.4 nerfed in-game injuries. simulated games work great and this juices them up around the league to the level I feel is more true to the game. You can always edit injuries if you simply want to “manipulate” the dice roll with injuries around the league if you feel it get’s out of hand.

I have still yet to see an in-game injury since that patch dropped. 2K again over reacting to cry’s. Hopefully they tune it properly in their next update. They went too far the other way in making the adjustment. But also maybe I just need to play more games.....but I have not seen one for either the CPU or HUM in played games since this latest patch (1.04).

I will upload the newest MyLeague set this morning ASAP.

The no injury thing is bugging me. I've started simming one game a week to try to induce injury but that hasn't worked yet either. Having a completely healthy team really limits a whole realm of immersion and strategy to the game. Im hesitant to edit injuries into my players but will eventually if they don't sort this out.

Fatigue plays a huge part in Sim, so don't worry about lack of injuries because it was too out of control before, but now that I think about it 2k fixed it too much

I lost KD for 2-4 months, but you are correct that it isn't like pre patch

Hopefully the tweak the injury thing but if they don't what's a good way to randomize injuries for my team? I would think there's a program or formula i could plug into but i don't know. Somebody better at math than me have any ideas?

is this a good slider set for advanced players? every single set i have tried seems to be too easy. I beat Hall of fame by 20+ almost every game consistently. how do i make it more difficult? any help is appreciated!

If its too easy for me, I tuning down my defensive and offensive sliders by little steps, while upping CPUs the same way to find a good balance for my skill.

Think the movement an game flow doesn't need any changes.

Maybe the User advantage of Speed and literal Quickness could be a key. When more even its harder to stop Cpu attacking the basket or follow their dribble and post moves.

Also Body-up and on-ball-defense sliders are a factor.

Consistency and Awareness sliders same story.

I increased contact sliders for both sides because I find it too easy to get the rim with players who aren't known for it.

I would try to even out the advantage the user is given by little steps. While increasing or decreasing the sliders in direction of the normal value.

                        Its up to you.

Always thinks it's easy until a team catches me by 20

Team you use, how Sim you play and stick skills factor in a lot

My rule is 10 games before you ever say this game is easy. I am pretty good at this game and I lose sometimes and the 76ers are giving me my money's worth in a game right now. Again I 30 team control so everything is balanced out even substitutions for other teams realistically so games even out a little bit more than what the computer is going to give you on auto pilot. If I'm not hitting shots then I can struggle against anyone and it's how I adjust. Again purple is perfect for me because it's giving me enough realism even if the game's a little easy because my stats are matching out to how they should. That is the key to this, even if too easy is the game playing the way we need stats to match up. Armors deserves a raise from 2k for doing their hard work.
