I started with Superstar difficulty and entered your sliders from there. I noticed zero difference honestly. Played exactly the same to me. I feel like there is a placebo effect with people thinking starting on the higher difficulty makes a difference. Once you customize the sliders, they are what they are.

So playing a test game with Golden State. My god......they are fun to play with. Ridiculous how good they are.

2K has nailed player ratings, signature animations and moves....it’s freaking brilliant.

This team is almost unstoppable.

Some guys forget these are average Joe Sliders

If you are finding it too easy. Their are plenty of other slider testers

The main board is depressing enough. I wish people would stop spamming the good work Armors and guys who test these silders

I do not know why people do this. This is forum for this particular slider set for us average joes, and it plays awesome for us non superstar stick jockies. Please just feedback or results pertaining to these settings. Which are awesome for me!!

I gotta tell ya......I have not been in the 2K forums (even though I made some sliders for 15, 16 and 17, I ended up quickly exiting the forum) in a long time.

The last time I was here on a release and stuck around to enjoy talking sliders and the game itself was 2K11.

My god things have really changed. The sheer amount of negativity is astounding and quite frankly embarrassing. Visual Concepts has released a fantastic game to us. Yeah....there are bugs. I am sure most in MyLeague will be ironed out. But man they are so ambitious and cognizant of offline simulation heads. This game is beautiful and every single thread turns into or is a bash session.

I am playing the game daily and loving every minute of it. I am going to stick around only in this thread.

Again.....the main forum is a cesspool and I don’t want that vibe in this thread. Let’s make sure we keep it that way.

Dude I have been using your sliders for nearly every game for years. After realizing pretty quickly, I'm not a highest difficulty kind of player anymore, I found your sliders. Every sports games' purchase requires me to see you posting in the sliders section ha.

So I thank for you for staying at it again in NBA 2k18. I didn't play nba 2k17 due to different life things but I am back for 18.

Agreed. I totally understand and appreciate reading critical feedback on games, especially ones that I love. It can lead to making a great game even better if it's done correctly. When 2k11 came out, I loved the main forum because even the people here that didn't care for the game would post feedback that was articulate and level and opened up the forum to great discussion.

Now, blech. Almost every thread has the same template: ___ is broken!!!

Even the positive threads are riddled with the same grammatical nightmares about the game being broke. I feel old, but I miss the good ol' days of OS. It's a shame because this might be my favorite all-time sports title (gameplay-wise. Nuts to VC)

Played two more games with my Wolves franchise. Beat the pacers 83-110. Towns is just amazing! Butler put up a solid game to. Game two against the pistons I got beat up badly. My bench is really weak. The pistons exploited that every time the bench entered the game. 85-110 loss to them. Towns still managed 28 points, 13 rebounds! This dude average 13 rebounds a game! Your sliders are awesome Armor! Really digging the variety this game brings. It’s really sad people are bashing this game. I honestly think this game is absolutely amazing!!! Loving every minute of it

Played a secomd game. I was the Raptors at home vs the Bulls.

I adjusted game to 11min quarters(perfect for me). Also lowered offensive rebounding to 35 (pro default), and upped the foul sliders to help reduce amount of fg attempts and increase fouls. Still at 75 I did not see an over the back foul, and neither a single charging or "loose ball" foul call, both set at 90. I raised shooting foul to 70 and liked it.

Anyway here are the stats. Best sim stats I've seen with 2k in years! Game played fantastic and really was easy to beat the undermatched Bulls with a very good Raptors team.

I’m new to the “Average Joe” sliders approach; so, bare with me.

Do you find the game to be challenging at a pro level? I’m not a fan of winning game after game in convincing fashion. I’d rather have to truly compete for a win.

Do you find that at a lower level like pro?

I would add that if you prefer a different difficulty or slider adjustment change it and set it to your liking. I think it was Madden 15 and 16 I had to do this with Armor's slider set. Its really not a big deal because we all play at different levels and improve in certain aspects differently as well.
