Hey mate.
I didn't bash anything or anybody regarding pro, all star or whatever.
I read the Armor's first post and he mentioned pro because he wanted to avoid the difficulties cheese which gives attributes boost and weird godlike behaviour to the cpu.
This thing was finally removed by the developers in 2k17.
Now the difference between rookie and HoF is the level of ACE applied to the match (it isn't like before, boosts or stuff) and the sliders difficulty.
As you can see if you check carefully, as rookie the user has a lot of advantages and cpu disadvantages in term of slider points for each individual voice in the menu.
As HoF, the opposite. The game becomes tougher.
It means that if you translate the gold or red sliders on HoF, it should be the same except for ACE more dominant for schemes and defences and stuff.
Thats it. Nothing else is applied.
So I thank Armor for listening to me and not taking it as a blame or something.
Let's try. I'm also using it.

I am not going to write this off.....I am going to test it for myself (On Superstar Level where full ACE is in effect according to the Development team) because I would love nothing more than full ACE usage by my team and the CPU.

So I am giving this a fair shake and will give thoughts after several games.

I read what the poster just posted. Please let me know what you find. Very interesting

So you set to Superstar and then load your settings which will turn to custom? I will try that my next game.

I cut ACE back on in my current game and now I have to learn it again, but will test Superstar Gold in my next game

So I hung with the Warriors. Over time I got within 7-8 points at several points in the game (was down only 2 after 1 then they just turned on the jets from that point on)....Curry would take over. Even with ACE really kicking in for me doubling him......I would pay with either Klay or Durant draining threes.


Curry was ridiculous. He dropped 44 on me. He was hitting 30 foot threes...like IRL. The Warriors are simply too good for this Heat team. I even got Klay and Durant into some foul trouble....but Curry was just MVP’ing me all night. But the ACE system really does look far more refined on Superstar and above level. Just like the developers said.

I am going to keep playing on Superstar with Gold V1 and report back....but man it was intense and demanded my utmost focus and I loved it.

Here is the box score....yeah Golden State scorched me from 3pt land....shooting 44 threes and hitting 50%.....insane night for them. I beat them on the boards, in the paint and off the bench....but the bottom line is....they have Curry, Durant and Thompson.....add in Draymond.....just too much defense for me to overcome when I needed some big shots. But I played really well. I did not turn it over too much either. I just could not cover all these super stars. As it should be.

Sorry I didn't read your post before responding. A lot of guys will just say it's too easy, I am too good, my butt itches, etc., but you came with facts and that is the thing that makes good slider guys even better.

If anyone has posted Gold V.1 on X-Box 1 let me know

Hmmm. If i want to experience the ACE on superstar, Im guessing I cant download these? I would have to enter manually, starting from SS level?

Anyone notice steals going up? On red and gold they have upped, but maybe that is only because I cut it ACE back on. Really learning the game because I feel I was rushing shots and when my bench comes in I need to run plays. Will post stats when I am done
