Tough but id say PRO as PRO seems to keep roster rating at where they are ANY otehr difficluty boosts or reduces them TOO much

A safe bet is PRO difficulty.

And if youre doing CPU vs CPU then do CPU at PRO difficulty and mirror both the human and cpu to have ONLY the CPUS settings.

I am updating this very set very soon but i have the night to test stuff out more just wanted to answer your guys questions.

Back on topic as to not derail things, this 2k is without a doubt a dream come true as far as what we can do to mold it to play as we want.

Things like quick edit in the roster creator are a Godsend.

UPDATED AS OF 9/17

I've updated after about a whole night of play testing.


When I say play testing I means watching the CPU and controlling the USER.


I've done scenarios with every team. Making sure players look and play like themselves.


Give Paul George, Paul Pierce's 97/08 Celtics dribbling packages. Its UNCANNY.

As far as Stats and fouls that will updated at a later date as I need more time to see what actual quarter length I'll be going with.

About foul system, in a real game there are 7 or 8 NON-shooting fouls per team(reaching blocking over the back etc...)
You think that only by setting sliders we can adjust this kind of fouls? At the moment we have only 1 or zero NON-shooting foul per game

Whats going to transpire in my next few play tests are quarter testing.

The number of minutes we can play with this slider set that gives us the most realistic average 20 to 30 points per quarter.

Fouls play a huge part but also add to the realism and ultimately "slowdown" of the game.

Many times once a foul is called it adds points to a game that isnt even on the clock.

lots to consider going into it

Even more so this year esp with how well the game speed can be handled.

truly a gem of a game this year.

also wanted to answer another part of your question in regards to what type of fouls.

In many cases this is just like the tendencies sliders. you get to pick which once get called.

I'm guessing the sliders are formatted User/Cpu. Also do you use RP% or user timing? Playing on PS4.

yes they re made for HUMAN VS CPU


I use rp% rather stick skill because stick skill is for online and competitive play.

you can use these sliders but you'd have to put the cpu setting for both cpu and human

Hey dude, just had one half of action in MyGM (Three games in, Mavs Vs. Rockets) with the Mavs with your new updated slider... And I think you might've compensated a little bit too much



Yeah, these are from two quarters of 10 minutes each. And I just can't seem to miss shots that are halfway open or near the basket. The few misses I had were mostly weird leaners with guys like Matthews or Barea in the face of a defender, the rest just goes in without issues.

Using RP%/RP%, so it's not like i'm affecting things with timings.

Keep up the work, though!

Thank you for testing but as I stated twice before and within the original post where the slider settings are I have not adjusted for real life stats and/or fouls yet.


I will but these specific tweaks towards averages and percentages actually take time more so than just get getting player speed and animations to play out correctly. Also I "currently play at 8 minute quarters not 10. To play at 10 a lot would have to be readjusted so it makes sense you got high %'s for now


I spent about 20 hrs on these sliders just to get the speeds down almost near perfect for my liking.


the stat/fouls stuff will be another 20 at least im guessing

I downloaded off 2k share 10 minutes ago. And changed the game speed to 65. (I was skeptical about this but thought the movement felt good... Only played about 15 minutes of 2kU scrimmage with them.

Look forward to playing more
