I downloaded off 2k share 10 minutes ago. And changed the game speed to 65. (I was skeptical about this but thought the movement felt good... Only played about 15 minutes of 2kU scrimmage with them.

Look forward to playing more

game speed at 65 plays too fast for me so I am going back to 50. It's like a blur out there with the game speed so high.

did you download the newest set?


almost EVERY slider is set lower to compensate in a very realistic way
Example from slider set below detailing how much lower other things actually are to the game speed of 65

I've now changed this settings to further enhance what the "movement" sliders are doing
Speed – 30/20
This setting for Human/CPU at 30/20 brings together the concept of having the overall Game Speed at 65. As I feel the basketball SHOULD travel much faster than the in-game player
Lateral Quickness - 50/40

Movement
Speed with Ball (Max rating) - 60/40
Speed with Ball (Min rating) - 60/60
Acceleration with Ball (Max rating) - 60/35
Acceleration with Ball (Min rating) - 60/35
Speed without Ball (Max rating) - 60/50
Speed without Ball (Min rating) - 60/60
Acceleration without Ball (Max rating) - 30/25
Acceleration without Ball (Min rating) - 30/30

Played with these a bit more. I think you're really on to something with the movement. I'm looking forward to your future adjustments to other areas.

Hopefully these will work well with Simworld when it eventually releases

Tomba- Another update. Overall movement feels really responsive and fluid.

I just played a half celts (CPU) vs Warriors (User)

It was an odd half... Both teams shot +90%. It really didnt matter where the shot was taken, or how contested it was, it was going in.

Another thing I notices

- You could drive by the defender at will. Literally 100% of the time I could blow right by with my offensive player and sprint to the rim. I'm all for an organic free flowing game, but there should be a bit more of a defensive presence.

I know you said your primary focus was movement and free flowing feel. I think you've got that down. It would be good to start balancing out the offense with some defense, and get the shooting %'s under control.

I've repeatedly said this isn't stat driven yet or made to be statistical accurate
I'm trying to get player movement and game speed right without having to go into roster editing

I will work on the other areas soon

Trying to really nail down footplanting now but it's tough due to the "animation foot shuffle" that happens when certain players accelerate

with stick skill you can make anyone a good shooter
