I agree, tendencies are every bit as important, or even more important than attributes overall. People get too caught up in players' overall, when its not nearly as important as having accurate tendencies.

You would think with all the technology that 2ks roster ratings guys, would be able to get tendencies right, to get the most realistic gameplay, but sadly they do as bad a job with tendencies as they do ratings

Speaking of attributes vs tendencies importance, that would be the case of someone, for example, lets say Zach Lavine...In real life, *Attributes* wise, we all know he is a great high flying dunker with style (Most suitable for dunk contests. However, *Tendency* wise (or quantity-wise, making up a word lol) he doesn't always poster over anyone in-game. I'm not saying he never does any as I have seen highlights and watched games, but I'm just piggy backing on the emphasis of the confusion of ratings/attributes vs tendencies (quantity & likelihood). Most would confuse it and justify that Lavine *always* dunks on someone because he is a great dunker style wise and become over excessive with both his ratings and tendencies together.

i love this edits when actually playing, but im afraid that when simming games in myleague it would mean way too many fouls?

Thanks for trying them, and commenting. I'm not sure how these would affect MyLeague (Simulated games)...as I have never tried that mode. However, I am more than willing to try it given the time. What "mode" of MyLeague are you playing on?...because I see MyGM Next Chapter, MyLeague, MyLeague Online, Start Today, Season, Playoffs.

What I'm liking is the randomness of each game. I win against stronger teams, and other times lose against weaker teams, and vice versa. This game, Houston Rockets had a BAD game scoring 88 points, simply. Teams like that have bad games against weaker opponents occasionally. It happens. Most would say its impossible or whatever, but it happens in real life. I had a significant amount of steals because of Houston's sloppiness, and guess what, it happens lol. And its a wonderful thing knowing that each game are not the same. I blew them away. Houston was sloppy, careless, resulting in too many turnovers, and I had a record low amount of fouls as they fouled me a lot. Their defense was slacking. Their largest lead was 13 and I took over from there for the remaining 3 qtrs. My field goal attempts for both USER and CPU are random each game...as you can see in all of my screenshots to include this game where HOU (CPU) had 72 field goal attempts to POR (USER) 79! Both under 80. Overall fun game!

Other Notes:
-POR 79 FGA - HOU 72 FGA
-POR 10 Fouls - HOU 20 Fouls
-POR commited 1 illegal pick, 1 loose ball foul, 1 over the back foul, 2 charging fouls. HOU committed 1 of each of those categories, to include a travel.

This is a legacy issue with 2K...only their developers can fix this problem, in which they won't no matter how many threads have been created about this issue. Its all over this forum man. I, like many others see it once in a while...and if you or anyone else come up with a miracle fix, let us know lol...otherwise thanks for asking. You will still see increased foul amounts.

I'm also contemplating adding:

1. An additional slider set version that is unique to 1.0, that I've been trying.

2. An additional set of roster edits in other defense areas untouched, as an option, in addition to the 1st set.

...will see and if so I might post sometime this weekend.

I just turned to NBA League Pass, Bulls @ Hornets game, and immediately I saw Robin Lopez commit a 3 point foul. Also, I saw a "Double Foul" (does not exist in NBA 2K18) between Kris Dunn & Kemba Walker which is a foul I've never seen in 2k.

Right now, I'm playing DEN (Cpu) @ BULLS (Me), and 1 foul on a 3pt shot has been committed...hopefully more with brand new edits I've yet to consider...crossing my fingers I see more. And if I do I will post what I've done. Won't get too hyped though as I still believe 2K developing is the issue.

hi man, i modified player stats, from ciaco's roster... set you slides played 3 friendly match with no fouls from 3pt shoot...
the players contrst shot but never do foul from 3 points...
i try anymore...
