It’s fun grinding for a win. Blow outs aren’t fun unless it’s well deserved. I look at the Knicks but they are way too pathetic. That team requires a whole new everything lol. But I’m tired of the east to be honest. Think it’s time to head out west.

when picking a team myself for a mygm, i was going to make sure i took a team below 80 ovr. that leaves only like 5 teams. so maybe no higher than 80 ovr. should make it much more challenging.

I am probably stupid, but I have one problem with these starters: my young players never seem to improve during offseason. Or they improve by 1 rating? Am I doing something wrong? What makes players improve faster or slower?

Lol played first game got blown out in first quarter by 17. The rest of the game was good I lost by 7 an played an even game. Issue one couldn’t hit a layup to save my life. Issue 2.... Zion Williamson seems rather slow and gets pushed around easy. Hell he seem unable to even jump. I threw two alley oops to him and he was like stuck in sand. He’s good for about 3 minutes an then tired. I don’t have anyone who can do the whole run by thing. Oh an lastly playing the Champs (Raps) on ring night was crazy. They defenders collapsed in the paint for most of the game an were all over me on the perimeter. Reminded me of watching them on TV.

Okay no more waiting lol, I'm starting MyGM with the first page set. Obviously I'll switch it up when you drop the new updates but ready to get going.

Gonna take you up on picking the 80ovr or lower and gonna go Hawks I suppose. I'll post my streams and thoughts in here for all to gander at, obviously that wont be extremely helpful until your new update drops but all the same lol.

I can probably raise vertical back up as it had been lowered to fix a problem out the box, but I've put other solutions into place that should make that unnecessary

If I play with player lock should I have both cpu and user sliders equal? I’m trying to avoid the 4th quarter cpu comeback where they don’t miss and I can’t make anything

How are you guys liking MyGm? I heard it was terrible this year and was heartbroken... I usually play it instead of myleague because of how immersive it is... I heard they made some updates to make it at least playable how is it working out for you guys so far?

Well, being I've never played MyGm before... It's been rough.

Only because it's super easy to accidentally sim games you want to play. Even if you request to be reminded of the game and have it prevent you from doing something that will sim you past it, that notification doesn't show up.

And if you get to the day before the game you wanna play, the only way to get to the next day is to do something with then stimulates that game.

If i can figure out a way to play the games i want to play and not accidently simulate them. Then i would like it a lot more.

You heard how frustrated I was with all the simmed games! I hope we can figure this thing out because the mode has ALOT to offer!!

Yeah it wasn’t like that last year... 2k19 MyGm was perfect. Literally myleague with more higher stakes. This year they changed a lot in order to prevent you from earning vc.. another game mode ruined by 2ks greed

The way MyGM works is at the beginning you earn 1/2 of an action point per day. So you get 1 point every 2 days. Which means you can only perform an action every other day.

Now fairly quickly during first season you'll level up to earning a whole action point per day, which allows you to play every game without worry of simming as long as you select to play it without using your action point first.

There is also an option in the MyGM settings where playing a game won't cost you a Action Point.

Lastly after you level up even further during first season you'll gain the ability to bank an action point by ending a day without spending your point.

I actually really enjoy the way they've done it this year, now that I have it figured out.
