I was blowing every team out over the course of 15-20 games, so I left the sliders the same but upped the difficulty to HOF. It's playing pretty well now, but I need to increase cpu turnovers and hopefully reduce the ease in which I blow by defenders (which was the cause of me blowing the cpu out in the first place). Does anyone have suggestions, especially for that last part?

Try using a team where your ranked under 80... lol Just kidding dude. I’m sure Schnaidt1 will be able to help... His suggestions always resolved issues for me. I’m sure there are a few things you can bump but don’t go too crazy. You could send the whole set out of whack.

They work with default and Celtics roster

Bro, idk what you want from me. Getting realistic turnovers in 2k is dang near impossible.

Maxing out plays passing Lanes = doesn't help
Lowering pass accuracy = doesn't help.
Increase steal success = works, but ppl spam it.

The game just doesn't have natural turnovers in the game like bad passes, stepping out of bounds, etc etc.

I feel like blow bys aren't really an issue unless you have a mismatch, but you can raise lateral quickness until you get the resistance you are looking for.

Not to throw gas on a bonfire but damn. Bro play with some teams who got some foot in the mud type players. Better yet how about running plays until you get the shot you want. I’m not sure what team you using but I’m pretty sure not everyone on that team has blow by speed. Resistance is there but you probably looking for a that easy shot. I’d be curious to see your shooting percentages and how many 3’s you take per game as well as mid range shots. I don’t care how good you are look at it from this side of things. I was using the Raptors for example. But I got the feel for everyone’s jump shot and also had a blow by type of player in Siakam. Waiting for Schnaidt1 slider update made me too good. So I switched to a team below 80. Guess what I got obliterated and torched cause I had to learn all over again how to play with different players. Try a different team dude pick someone lower than whomever your using. If that don’t work. This will be my last post/reply message. Believe me I’m not trying to be arrogant but before these sliders went into effect I was thinking of giving up playing this game. I really hope Schnaidt1 recommendations help make your game play more accurate to what your seeking but it’s like I said before the game playing great if you not playing with former and potential MVPs on your roster all the time. Just a thought or two cents. Game on!

Piggybacking off this. I want more turnovers. I want both teams in the teens.

Ive tried everything, Ive raises play passing lanes, ive raised hands, ive raised go for on ball steals (works for the cpu) ive raised steal success (works but user spams) ive lowered pass accuracy to the point you wouldn't believe these guys were pros (still didnt do much)

There just isnt an organic system in place in 2k to allow for appropriate turnover...its the same with free throws.

I want them, I really do....Im just out of ideas right now.

Long time reader, first time poster...
I enjoy simulating deep into a MyLeague every year on 2K. When using your sliders this year, I’m noticing an overabundance of good players not getting signed to teams after about 5-7 seasons into the MyLeague. There will be lots of great players in the high 80’s sitting in free agency, who don’t get signed, because there are so many good players rated in the 80’s. Is there anything I can do to fix that? Thanks!

Personally I just think this generation console is maxed out in more ways than one. I don’t doubt that developers pass by for ideas with so many experienced gamers here and what not. Look how far we have come in terms of gaming man. NBA live??? Lol anyone remember that on Genesis (Sega). To Dreamcast! Yo I’m happy to mess with 2K. I get frustrated like everyone else but when you get a set like these you can’t expect perfection. We have reached a point of no return. It’s either you going to find a way to make it entertaining or my advice don’t waste money buying it next year. These problems will crop up again.
Schnaidt1, Bro thanks for your continuation of making my gameplay as good as it get right now. Without these sliders my game play would be absolutely garbage. I’m enjoying myself now and I’m crossing my fingers that no updates come through and screw me royal!

That was the same issue as last year. 2k clearly didn't test their new progression/regression sliders last year and even though a lot of people commented on how inflated the ratings get, that never fixed it.

Here's the problem and i spent a ton of hours on it last year and and again this year.

There is no way (that I've found) to keep the same amount of 90 and 80 overalls 5 years in.

If you reduce progression, naturally, that helps, but the problem it creates is you don't get new players going up into the 90s.

Because 90% of players rated by mr stauffer are B- potential or better, you can see the problem this creates.

Older stars are given A potential to keep them from dropping so fast which worked with the old system, now that we have regression sliders, the entire potential system needs to be reworked. I've ran so many test simulations trying to figure out a way to get young stars to progress into the 90s while keeping average players average.

I have yet to find a combination.

So yea, I'll be taking another shot at them soon, but for now, you can really only go 3-4 years deep before everything is inflated.

When using your sliders this year, I’m noticing an overabundance of good players not getting signed to teams after about 5-7 seasons into the MyLeague. There will be lots of great players in the high 80’s sitting in free agency, who don’t get signed, because there are so many good players rated in the 80’s. Is there anything I can do to fix that?
