Next game against the Bulls felt much better. CPU wasn't crushing me in the paint and was playing a better balanced game. I forget the exact number but Points in the paint were around 40-50. I did pump the Acceleration down to 50 but it felt a little sluggish and I only attempted 78 shots so I might try to bump that back up to 55 for my next game. Thanks for your help!

Any sliders that make teams take more 3 pointers? I have yet to find sliders that replicate how today's game is played. For PC BTW.

A few small tweaks…

USER Inside Contact Shot Freq. - 55
USER/CPU Blocking - 90/90
USER Off. Rebound - 85

OP, as well as the 2K Share have been updated to reflect these changes.

What is the name of your sliders on 2K share? For PC?

CPU is averaging nearly 40 3pt attempts per game against me. If they’re not shooting enough for you then up the CPU 3pt tendency to 45 or 50.

I know sliders are cross platform for PS5/SeriesX, I have no clue if they’re cross platform for PC. Worse case scenario you can just put the sliders in yourself, it takes 5 minutes.

that's cool, with my games I'm getting about 35 to 45 threes a game give or take, that's about what today NBA standards are.

how u doing thanks for the great work that u put in to make sense of this game, anyways I was wondering if I wanted the CPU to make more closely contested threes should I just simply raise the three point shooting are is there another slider that I may want to tweak instead?

Glad you’re enjoying the sliders. You can raise CPU 3pt shot success or lower CPU shot coverage impact.

thanks I'm going to try in lower the CPU shot coverage timing slightly, they are making the correct amount of threes in a games, I want more of those three point shot attempts that's covered to go in by the CPU, more of a challenge for me thanks again

Gave these a try. I like them. I’m going to lower shooting esp for CPU but I like the amount of steals I and the CPU are getting. Guys hit contested shots.

And whatever you did to allow breakaways in the fastbreak is perfect.

I also upped fouls but overall a great base for me.and I’m using mjwizards era rosters.

Coming back to this game after a couple months away. Game was playing decent but not great when I last played. It’s playing awesome now, whatever they did in the last few patches have really helped a lot IMO. There’s a lot less bumping and grinding with the ball handler which allows me to put body up sensitivity back to a normal number and help bring a better flow back to the game. I’m still doing some testing but I really like what I see so far. Will post here when I have an updated version.

OP and 2K Share both up to date with new slider tweaks. I really like the way the game is playing, offense is way less predictable for both me and the CPU.


TWO MUST HAVE SETTINGS
Game Plan --> Defensive Settings --> Coach Assignments
Stay Attached --> NEVER
Pre Rotate --> YES

This allows for proper rotations you see in today's NBA, paired with my help defense slider at 85. No more wide open, uncontested 3's, unless you have really good ball movement.

There are two methods to set this for both you and the CPU.

The first method, you can do during any game, exhibition or franchise. Pause the game, go to Game Plan --> Defensive Settings. You will already be on the coach assignments screen where you can find "Stay Attached" and "Pre-Rotate". Once you set your assignments, you can go to switch sides and do the same for the CPU. They will stick even when you switch back to your team.

If playing franchise you will have to be controlling the CPU team. If you're not already doing so, you can go to Options --> Settings --> Team Selection. This next step works both the same for you and the CPU. Go to Coaching --> Coach Game Plan --> Choose Opponent for USER/CPU --> Scroll to Coach Assignments (R2/RT Once). This where you will find the "Stay Attached" and "Pre-Rotate" options.
