    Stumpy's NBA 2K25 CPUvCPU / Simulation Sliders

    Stumpy's 2K25 CPUvCPU & Simulation Sliders

The goal of these sliders is to provide a realistic feeling broadcast experience between two CPU teams, otherwise known as "watching" a game. Included are simulation sliders, i.e. sliders used when simming through a game instead of watching, that aim to provide similar statistical results to both real life and the CPUvCPU games. Sliders will be updated as adjustments are made. Feel free to provide any feedback on what you're noticing in your own games. New versions will include larger changes.

Would like to know if finally we can have 17-23 avg fouls per team. I think it will be impossible also this year from what i see around, but never say never, will follow you

Fouls and free throws in the typical NBA range are very doable this year with a combination of sliders and easy roster edits. Just bump the Foul Attribute as well as the Take Charge, Foul, and Contest Shot Tendencies +10 on the All Players roster screen and you'll see much better fouling and free throws. Then you can tweak with sliders as needed.

I'm usually seeing 15-20 fouls and 20-30 free throw attempts per game.

In 2 of my CPUvCPU games so far, the AVG has been about 12 per team per game. In simulation, however, the top fouling team averages 23.7 FPG and the lowest team averages about 16 FPG.

For the CPUvCPU games, reaching and shooting fouls might need to be adjusted by +10 or +15 in the sliders to get to that range. I have yet to test it but will be looking at that soon.

i think that if you do this, you will ruine the stats of the simulation games

True. But to compensate, I adjust the sim foul slider down.

Thanks for the cpu vs cpu sliders-I might purchase the game for first time in a couple years. Can you tell me if defensive settings are working as intended in this mode? Like double teams, pick/roll coverages, how tight to play various players, matching guys up, etc. In the past if you made defensive adjustments they would just revert back after a timeout or break in the action. Any help would be awesome-thanks.

Just did a test on this and defensive settings saved between breaks in action and substitutions. Seemed to be working fine!

                          For in-game CPUvCPU or simming?

Not much more I can about the lack of fouls compared to real life in CPUvCPU without editing player tendencies which I tend to avoid.

Last 2 CPUvCPU games on version 2:
