Full Authority Mode and Scouting Questions

I got 2k5 last year, but never played it b/c I fell in love with college hoops 2k5. However, the Full Authority feature from nba 2k5 intrigued me. I'm gonna get nba 2k6 and I was wondering if that feature is still in the game.

Also, I've heard there's scouting in nba 2k5, but if you import your college players from college hoops (which I plan on doing), does that nullify this feature.

Full Authority is gone.

You are prompted to load your College Hoops file before you start your association. Then you can scout the players all season long.

That's a bummer. I've never played the nba 2k series, but I used to play NBA Live waaaay back in the day (on Sega Genesis) and I would never make it through an 82 game season. I didn't like playing shortened season's though so I just quit playing eventually. Any reason why they took it out?

because it was garbage......too easy....straight trash....corny....worthless...pointless......stupi d....needed to be taken out

I never lost at full authority even when i tried. IT was ridiculously easy to win. THought it was the most poorly implemented feature in a game in a long time.

I'm still trying to figure this out. Folks were saying that it was too easy but I'm not seeing how. I guess you guys know your bball.
