Create a Player Function for 360?

[WTF]

Okay, for the past 3-4 years, the 2K series has had the same horrible Create a Player. This includes NBA 2K6. With the advances in Graphics, those 6 faces, and few hairstyles, and generic facial hair, you can't make someone look even close to correct. No Legends... None of your buddies... Nothing that looks even remotely close to fitting in.

With that said, does anyone know, Mike or anyone can chime in here, if the Create a Player mode has been drastically overhauled. I really don't think that I can stomach watching all of these photorealistic players, alongside of that same horrible CAP that has been seen for 4 years now.

Just seconding wt... the cap was cut down after 2k2 and has been the same since. It was a pure mental lapse to leave the CAP like this (and even to go as far as to add a mode where CAP is central). No time like the present to fix this.

I'm sure its not that big of a deal to some ppl. I have'nt really used CAP in sports games in ages mainly for the fact that its been lacking. If you give me the options that a game such as a wrestling game gives you, I'd probably be all over it.

it def. put the halt to it for me, if live's game play is close to up to par, i'd opt for that if this isnt fixed. it makes no sense that we can only create 10players when they leave out ALOT more players than that, on each roster update(years past). imo whether aplayer is on the ir or not, they need to include him on the rosters, b/c hes still apart of the squad.

Create-a-player isn't that important to me. Like the pervious post said, we usually don't have the # of slots to make up missing players.

Look at NBA Live 360; they get a fancy-pants Create-a-player

We get a FRANCHISE mode in 2k6.

its not a matter of what you would rather have... because we CAN have both. if VC is including a CAP and MANY people have asked for a improved one rather than the same exact one we've had for years now then it would not be a detriment to improve it.

You can actually GAIN more fans by doing it rather than just writing it off as "some minor feature". You'd be surprised how many people enjoy EA games because of their attention to detail.

I'm not saying CAP makes or breaks a game, but there are people who would love to see the feature vastly improved. Myself included.

Thats NOT a good point about the franchise vs. CAP. Fact is Live started completely over, its a different experience (supposedly, i still see sliding) 2k6 is the same game we have with varying improvements. So yes, having the same tired CAP would not just make me think twice but prevent me from buying 2k6 bc its a bad sign that they couldnt fix a 4 year old problem..
