Just... Why?

That challenge has to be the worst game design implementation I have seen since... Ever.
Seriously, I cannot remember such a poor decision in gaming design. It pretty much ruined 24/7 mode for me.
Sure, I could turn the controller upside down, or just keep trying, or whatever... But I don't want to. The mode is already painstaking enough as it is. I mean seriously, how much one-on-one can a person take?
The thing is, 24/7 mode could be an awesome experience. In my opinion they need to make it more sim like. In other words: more real courts, less one-on-one games... Keep the RPG like leveling up... And if you want to add variety, add weather effects that alter the game. Make one challenge where it's windy outside, and so jumpers are nullified. Make another where it's rainy, and so speed is nullified. Etcetera.
Maybe add some simple shot challenges, like real players do. There is a great wealth of ideas from the real world that can be drawn upon.
Whatever you do Visual Concepts, get rid of that awful, game-killing, reverse control challenge. Goodness.
I'm going to go have my mind erased now. The Beautiful Sunshine of a Reverse-Control-Challenge-Less Mind.
edit:
Oh yeah, another thing: The all time Sonics team doesn't have Shawn Kemp, but it has Vin Baker?!?!?!
:y4:
What genius put together that roster? Whoever it was also mistakenly put Tom Chambers at small forward. Sure, he could shoot the three every now and then, but he was 6'10", and played most of his glory days along side SG Dale Ellis, and SF Xavier McDaniel, with PG Nate McMillan dishing out the rock.
Come on guys!!!
