the dunk comp isn't too important.. I feel you though, but when I had Live it gotten real old in about three weeks... I remember CH 2k3 had a dunk comp and it was too damn hard. MJ and VC always won...

Sounds like you just described Association Mode, with a few extra bells & whistles. Why scrap it?

none of this is in NBA 2k7.... read it again...
Additions for the proposed Owner mode also needed:
Coaches get fired and your coach delvelops like in CH 2k6
coaches pool like CH 2k6
an weekly sportscenter or NBA TV Daily'like NFL 2k5' with all the games and player of the month awards.
alot of awards like Steals, and etc. and put it in the players profile card.
Hall of Fame like MLB 2k6 except with players who deserve it like they did in High Heat 2002.
Please get rid of POTENIAL rating and your rating goes on who you produce, I expressed that in other threads and been saying this since 2k4.
Some draft coverage...
Getting the imported recruits right like in NCAA Football to Madden(EA) current gen.
Alot more of a scouting report...
Onwer mode like Madden'current gen' when the offseason comes you can move teams, fired coaches and not pick up a coach who you guys created, ablity to move teams and change jersey.
Rookies vs. Soph game. and correct the All Star game bench, half of them don't deserve it....
That about it for now I guess....
if this is in 2k8 then it will be the greatest game ever created...

i think this needs to emphasized please add a REAL ALL StAR weekend.. i just played my all star it was so cheesy i just simmed the game to end.

I never play All-Star games. Just too boring. EA's All-Star weekend is THE only good part of that series. I wish VC would take it to the next level and even beat EA at that part of the game. I would be pretty happy if thats next year's main upgrade.

Yeah I was an advocate of 24/7 but after playing through and not being impressed, I agree it should be scrapped. That'd make room for the All Star weekend right there. I really wish an NBA game would incorporate the ladies from the WNBA as well. They don't have a game of their own, so they could at least get some shine doing some kind of shoot out event, like the NBA does during All Star Weekend. I would also like to see a couple of female refs, as they do ref the NBA now. Let's give the ladies their due.

I agree with all your points. I also don't like 24/7 mode but kids like it. Don't forget they need to let us control all teams in the season and assiociation mode.

I must be one of the few who likes association mode just the way it is. Sure they can improve and add some things but it's still the best bball game franchise mode made so far imo.

24/7 is a bit lame but i prefer this years version then what they had in the past.

Having more control of ticket prices, food and beverage prices etc that effect the financial bottom line of the franchise would be cool like Madden but i still like it just the way it is.....

just becuase it the best bball franchise doesn't mean it's the best franchise in sports gaming... The gamers on here really don't play the Asscisoation mode but most offline gamers do..

The halftime shows, weekly wrapups, and smoother commentary and I'd be good to go. I like how it is already on the real. Maybe a more in depth draft though with more players and stuff as well as the NBDL or something resembling it so that we can pluck for tweaking our teams.

I feel you but if this game needs to get everyone attention, association that is on par with Madden current gen is a must, too many gameplay only matter heads on this site where most people who don't go online play the franshise mode... so this will help
