Eh, I'll just wait then. I'm sitting here playing the cavs for the first time. I'm hitting circus shot contested layups over and over and over again with the guards.I am the Developer of an online text based football simulation called http://deeproute.com

Re: Did you know you can manual decide where your layup hits on the glass?
You can direct the layups. I am not going to explain how to do each layup, from where it happens on the floor, and the options you have.
However I will explain how to direct it off the glass.
Certain areas of the floor, and certain directions on the pad will do an off the glass layup.
One of those is baseline. Let's pretend for a second that the Basket is directly UP. So UP actually means up on your controller.
You are running down the baseline, if you hit LEFT on the shot stick, you will float inside towards the basket, and lay it up on the glass.
Now, Picture a clock. Left is 9. Up is 12.
If you push the shot stick towards 11, it will go high off the glass. 10 it will go lower. 9 will go as low as possible.
You want to go high off the glass with a farther release point if a defender is there.
And that is how you direct layups off the glass.I am the Developer of an online text based football simulation called http://deeproute.com

Re: Did you know you can manual decide where your layup hits on the glass?
he's not lying. i did a layup with billups and by mistake i laid it up with the shot stick about 11 o'clock and it it hit high off the glass just out of the reach of o'neal and went it. layed it up again with prince and it was in a different position because of the shot stick location when i input the command. it may be random and it may be by design. with the ridiculous amount of control given the user in other areas i would suspect that it is by design. this game is too deep not to have a manual.

I think we need to test that. That would be really cool if we could do that. Imagine hitting a high arching layup on a big man.Comment
