^thats what it looks like...doesn't make sense to me either.

Hey DC, just curious, why do you think editing draft class is better than importing. I wanna know since I love the import feature and have to settle without it this year. I have to psych myself for the limited editing draft class feature...your thoughts?

To me, it seems time consuming, especially if you cannot 'import' draft classes from 2kshare.

I can't speak for DC, but imo it's just as good. If 2k figures a way for us to edit the appearances more it'd be perfect but in all honesty, most rookies had problems. Guards were built like Ben Wallace at age 17, Forwards were built like Dwight Howard. I remember importing Deron Washington who is long and lanky and him looking like LeBron James. That and if the player's skintone is off by a shade it completely changes his generated picture (toss that 2k). So Deron was a shade lighter than normal and looked Asian as a result in his picture.

And I spent a good 2 hours editing all the attributes of rookies after the draft in the off season. I felt like I shafted the CPU too a couple times when they would take some guy real high because his ratings translated over poorly fron CHoops and I would edit him down from like an 80 to a 73 to be realistic.

Plus by editing ratings you can keep the big board pretty realistic. I've had times where Derrick Rose or OJ Mayo were 2nd round projections. I remember as Miami I drafted both of them once.

This is retarted, has anybody figured out that the imported draft form choops 2k8 is already in nba 2k9 as they're real lif counterparts instead of random looking players from 2k8, sad

I think the option is kind of better becuz it would be easier to edit propects now, with the edit feature and the ability to Upload class I would have been on heaven, just imagine editing all of the uploaded players From ch2k8 before the season start....

Also I thing we will b able to edit the players hair type and color with facial hair, think about it....the option said face, in previous 2k ball games FACE was where you would edit the eye color, the shape of the face and stuff, I'm sure we will have the option for hair...the question now is can we edit skin color and do the pictures change???

yeah I would be in heaven too...and I am somehow still hoping the import feature is in the game.

But yeah, I understand editing the prospects but college hoops provided rookies that you are familiar with from actually playing choops...rather than some cpu generated ones that you know nothing about.

What I'm saying is imagine being in year 4 of your franchise and the cpu has their generated rooks. It gets stale and boring very fast. When they are coming from choops, you know some/most of the rooks from their college years and from either scouting them in high school or even playing against them while in college.

I had a pretty good system that prevented this. It worked for me as the rookies would be very close to what they would be in real life...

I too hated the 'look' of the imported rookies but this is why I would have liked the feature in 2k9 because then we could just edit them.

Right now, it seems just the attributes. So you might have tom settle for a black Tyler Hansborough. I hope someone confirms this or that.

We know Live won't allow any editing of upcoming draftees.

Engle he was rated #23 in the HSAA and as a frosh he was a 6'5 225 SG with syracuse, I followed him thru ABL to his SR season...time of his SR year this guy grew to be 6'8 240!!! I edited his position to SF his Jr year and as a Sr I made him a PF....Syracuse wasnt my team I was using but this guy had the skills of a young Antoine Walker....in NBA2k8 I re edit his position back to Sf and he is a pretty good role player for Minn getting 12.9ppg with 5.6apg 6.0rbp in his second year....drafted in the early second round BTW, guess cuz he has guard skills instead of a PF true SF he is weak in the post but is a pretty good rebounder
THANK YOU!!! It is good to know I'm not the only one out here that follows these players through the ABL to the pros. To me, this is one of the best parts about both of these games. I hope 2k9 has a solution for this. I'd hate to give up my 2k8 because it doesn't import college players to 2k9. COME 2K Devs, HAVE A HEART!!!

Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

It seems that there wasn't an answer 17 years ago. So, I'm asking now if it's possible to export a CH2K8 draft class to NBA 2K9.
