Quick question and my two cents...

Will 2K9 come with a better manual this year? Also with the introduction of 2k share, its clear that this is the last 2K basketball. Remember college hoops 2k8 came with the ability to use 2K share. Take two pretty much prepared us for life after ch2K8. So with the possible purchase of Take-Two by EA, i believe 2K may been thinking ahead. What do you think?

Not necessarily, regarding the 2kshare/ last nba2k, because even though they've added 2kshare i think it is a great means to introduce great CAP's and sliders to the community. A lot of people don't buy the exhange kits and so forth or are not willing to buy them so 2k made it more convenient. Maybe I'm wrong but regardless, 2kshare is a great tool. I only hope you can play with the shared rosters online. Even if it's not a ranked game, but to play with the 91 bulls against some other all time great team would be sweet. But i don't think you'll be able to play online with the shared rosters. Just my thoughts anyways. Here's to hoping.

Now to the question about the manual. Last years manual was pathetic. I hope they send an in depth manual, even though I've been with 2k since the dreamcast and know the controls inside and out, I like to go back to the fundamentals when I'm having a tough time at it. And i think with a manual I have a better feel for how the makers of the game intend for us to play it. Minus the cheese.

I think at this point the only people who can answer that are people working for 2k, and to be frank, it would be a much easier experience to have a manual worth reading this year.

Scratch that - a manual you can actually read.

So let me get this straight...your logic is that if College Hoops 2k9 was going to be made, then 2k Share would have never been part of the series? So with your logic in mind, they knew they weren't making College Hoops 2k9 BEFORE 2k8 was even released in 2007, and possibly 2006 since they start planning for features (like, for example, 2k Share) for their titles a year before release, or even earlier. I made myself dizzy there.

Let's also consider that this is a feature that has been asked for since the first current generation sports games came out by the fans and is part of other sports games that have no connection with Take Two and or 2k in one way or another.

This makes sense to me, in bizarro world. But I've been wrong before, so who knows.
