Re: NBA 2K9 Screenshots: Association 2.0 & More (Gamespot)
If they did that then this feature would only get better with time as they add more things to that infrastructure that can be updated... like graphics and commentary.Catch me on that #SimNation #SimHangOut Friday's @ 10:00 pm est https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...N7yxMiElOpMl_BComment

No, i have no problems with that, and I didnt say excited, i said overexcited.
Smashing it in one game and praising the same exact feature in the other.
Calling it things like " its over" "the greatest" "better than the other" before anyone has even touched it.
Some of the same people were down on 365 saying it was a gimmick is now all of a sudden saying it roxxorz

Re: NBA 2K9 Screenshots: Association 2.0 & More (Gamespot)
Do you see any NBA Live fans trashing 2k's feature? Calling it a gimmick but and saying silly things like OMGZ when EA introduced the same thing?
I don't but i did see it the other way around.
I think anyone involved in the entire discussion of who's better than who because of one feature is nuts, but since im in the 2k boards, i was speaking on what i've seen on the 2k boards and specifically because 2k information just came out.
Im not trying to be the balance beam, just posting my observation.
Whats better is a matter of opinion in the first place. I dont really care about any of that because im buying both games.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Screenshots: Association 2.0 & More (Gamespot)
I think its necessary for sports games to keep them fresh since they get stale so quickly from repetetiveness, and it seems it could save the devs alot of time once the infrastructure is solid and they can just add what they want to it.
It could be a nice roster update or it could be a godsend down the line. Im hoping for the latter.
Then again with the new animations, i dont know how those will be handled in regards to saves. are these rosters an internal "DLC" to your harddrive save or is there something tangible about them? itll be interesting because with the new2kshare feature, rosters can be shared.. im confused now lolLast edited by RubenDouglas; 09-18-2008, 12:02 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Screenshots: Association 2.0 & More (Gamespot)
Yeah, it's goin to be interesting how all these features fit together. Like if you use 2kshare to find a created player's dna to add to the most current living roster will that created player stick with the roster through another update? Hopefully they can go a little more in depth of how these updates are to effect things. Because if it does screw with manual changes to the roster when the next update comes, it looks i'll be using 2kshare and my knowledge to update the rosters. But i guess im just going to have to see how the system works when the NBA season starts.Last edited by blingballa333; 09-18-2008, 12:12 PM.Comment

I'm hoping by all this, that it means that rookies who get rated too high to begin with(ie. Marco Belinelli) will have their rating decrease over time if they're not getting any PT because of their skills.l North Carolina Tar Heels l Philadelphia Eagles l Sacramento Kings l Boston Red Sox l

My point was, you were in the Live forum where Live fans were having a similar reaction to getting info and a demo, and yet you didn't call any of them out like you've done here for being overly excited. Anyways, I'm off. I'll check this website tonight for the on the spot preview.
