True, I did it on 2K8 (PS2). I combined that thick elbow band together with the long wrist band (the one Sheed used to wear). I assume it's the same on next-gen.

Not gonna lie, I didn't even know it was T-Mac in his 2K9 photo. Pretty big step backwards unless that's just a bad angle/expression.

nice improvements on most players, the faces in 2k8 look almost like cartoon characters compare to 2k9. The bodies are actually in proportion with the heads too....well done

Besides the eyes, the noses were really improved. All of the 2K8 noses were too wide and rounded.

It's pathetic that they had it wrong in the 1st place for all those years. Can you imagine if the MLB games had the Yankees uniforms wrong?

Props to 2K for FINALLY correcting the jersey of the league's most notable and marquee franchise.

That's a REPLICA jersey and not to game standards.

On the next gen console....2K had the Lakers jerseys wrong since 2K6. The home gold were somewhat close, but they totally butchered the road purple jersey. They had a thick, solid gold trim around the neck and arm holes and the trim on the lettering was off as well (included a thin purple outline which should not exist). Heck they got Miami and Detroit correct and they use the same jersey style as the Lakers.

We're talking about the premiere franchise in the NBA (not Toronto, Portland, Indiana etc.) and they should have corrected this issue in 2K7 and then again in 2K8.

from what I've seen thus far in 2K9, it looks like they corrected everything except the numbering.

Honestly it shouldn't matter if they are the "premiere" franchise or not; All the teams should get equal billing.
