No, I've seen NBA Live 08's files from the 360 disc and I can say that they have a different layout.

Not sure how accurate this is, but I found what was listed as the minimum requirements on wikipedia:

OS: Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 CPU | CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista) RAM: 512 MB or more (1 GB for Vista) Disc Drive: 8x or faster DVD drive | Hard Drive: 10.5 GB or more free space | Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible * | Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible | Input: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad
            • Video card with 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets is required: ATI x1300
or greater | NVIDIA 6600 or greater | DirectX 9.0c compatible card with Shader Model 3.0 support.

Re: NBA 2K9 Confirmed For PC

well for me, im defintly gonna grab ot for the pc, i wa splaying live for the pc, since 04 with mods, and for me to leave live alone for now, is because to me even after mods, with 06, it got stale, because the game develoment got to sloppy, and to even be able to play the game, it took major patching work, with 2k8, even without mods, this game will be playable, out the box, as where if you were to buy nba live 08 for pc, you prob would break the cd in 2, thats how bad it is, i tryed to overlook alot of stuff for live, but its impossible and im glad its coming out next gen style! lets go!
I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

Do not buy the second one. The difference between GDDR3 and GDDR2 is bigger than the difference between 256MB and 512MB when it comes to video cards.

Based on those two cards, I'm guessing that you want something under $150....The 8800GT seems to be the best value in that range: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133232, though if you're willing to go over that price, I'd take a look at the Radeon HD 4850.

                    Awesome.

Basically means if anything ever happens to this series (knock on wood), this game could still live on forever with customization on the PC. Just buy a wired 360 controller to play it, and you're good.

Also, second the 8800gt. I have one and it's amazing. Handles everything I throw at it, even runs Crysis at high.

Re: NBA 2K9 Confirmed For PC

                        Added to the pc version:

                        * Does not support any online functionality, including but not limited to online games, 2K Share, ReelMaker or Living Rosters

** Internet access required to install and authenticate the game.

So does this mean that mulitplayer is limited or that there isn't one at all?

                          Not just Michael Jordan!

Let's start thinking of a whole championship squad patch.

For real though, who knows what level of patching we will be getting, as this is a whole new ballgame/company we are dealing with here.

At this point it really is a wait and see approach. Maybe we can get one of the developers to give so insight on the level of "patchability" this game is going to have.

Oh I was the one who did that when I first posted the topic on this board. But yeah its accurate so I posted it since the creator of the game said it on the 2k board.
