    Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

Sorry for the double post. But i just wantde to add that I have signed Ronnie Price to a 2 year 3mil contract with player option using my mid level exception.

It seems most my team has some sort of injury; Dorssey, Wall(out), Lee, Mason(out), and jeffries (out). And im terrified because i have shaun Livingston on my team.

Alot of my role plyers have been playing beastily in their extra minutes especially Price, Livingston, and Duhon; al PGs.

At the moment my roster is kinda loaded with point guards and when Mason and Wall return i wont have enough minutes to share aongst them. Also Gallinari has really taken a slump and has been playinig terribly behind Lebron. So, Im contemplating a trade in which i move probably Mason, Gallinari and Jason Smith and in return get Tyson Chandler, I would have to work a third team into it as the hornets are loaded at Sf, but i think it could be a good deal for both teams.

Things really starting to heat up now.

My goal is still LeBron, but perhaps Wade instead at this point.

Roster heading into the season...I'll try to update on this year as it goes...

        PG: Mayo (89); Lowry (78 6th Man)
        SG: Turkoglu (84); Wells (75); Buckner (68)
SF: Gay (91); Ryan Gomes (79)

Expiring Contracts: Lowry, Nesterovic, Gay, Arthur (TO), Gomes (TO), Mayo (TO), Stoudamire (PO), Buckner (PO)

My biggest fears heading into the season: Too much size clogs up the court; Turkoglu loses playmaking ability without a true center to feed off of; too much star power leads to struggles to find touches for everyone; underachieving leading to an inability to sign LeBron or even worse Gay leaving in FA (would rather resign Gay than just get LeBron).

What to do with my wing situation once I got LeBron would be anyone's guess, hence possibly grabbing Wade instead.
        Results of the season...

        W-L: 49-33.
        Playoffs: 1st Round (4th Seed).

        Transactions:
After 20ish games: Hedo Turkoglu and a 2010 1st Round Pick for Marcus Camby and Mike Taylor

Re-Signings: Gay, Arthur (TO), Mayo (TO)
Expired: Lowry, Nesterovic, Gomes (TO), Stoudamire (PO), Buckner (PO)

Starting Lineup heading into 2010 season with last season's stats... (drumroll please...)

        PG: Kyle Lowry (79+2ovr: 8.6ppg, 7apg, 1spg, 42fg%)
        SG: O.J. Mayo (90+4ovr: 19.4ppg, 7apg, 1.4spg, 50fg%)
        SF: Rudy Gay (92+3ovr: 19.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.2spg, 1bpg, 47fg%)
        PF: Amare Stoudamire (94+2ovr: 18.4ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.5bpg, 55fg%)
        C: Marcus Camby (86+3ovr: 5.3ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.4bpg, 44fg%)

oh, AND, a little player called LEBRON.

I re-signed Amare just out of excitement to have that much talent, but now I face an awkward dilemna - my bench is awful. Both reserve SGs are signed at the minimum (which pisses me off because I have an MLE and the game wouldn't let me use it during off-season) and awful. So I'm debating whether to trade Amare (Darrell Arthur is ready to start if he has to, he just can't create his own shot very well) or Camby (being that my original plan before the Camby trade was to put Amare at C anyway).

Whatever happens, all I need is depth at the guard spot because after my starters it's pretty embarassing. And I can only give LeBron and Gay so many minutes at the 1 and 2, though I'd prefer them to stay in the 3/4 area. My most immediate option is a lineup of Mayo/Gay/LeBron/Amare/Camby, which is entirely sensible, but even with a great two-man bench in Lowry and Arthur I worry that we might just get our *******s ripped open whenever the bench is on the floor.

          Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

^^ You have four superstars in your starting line-up. Id get rid of camby if you want to increase your depth.

          btw
thought id post my current 2011 lineup

          NYK
          Duhon/Livingston/Wall/Sun/Price
          Mason/Green
          James/Balkman
          Brand/Jeffries/Dorsey
          Lee/Moore

As you can see i have the reverse problem to the above poster, y bench is too deep and though ive been hampered by injuries, the mnutes just wont spread and people are bound to start becoming unhappy.

I suppose i'll have to move some players but i dont know what to do with them. What do real teams do when there too deep?

Currently 25-13 in my first season with the Hawks. I have lost 3 games in a row but still first in the conference. I playing every game with the actual rosters. Have cpu trades turned off and force every real life trade through. I will continue this through the first season and open everything up to the cpu after the trade deadline.

I wish the Hawks would help me out in real life and pick up some backcourt help. Acie Law is not cutting it. I cant wait to get to the offseason so that I can move Marvin Williams for a shooter to go with Joe Johnson. I cant get Marvin's shot down at all. I am looking to get maybe JR Smith or Kapono in the offseason for Williams. Any suggestions would be great for possible trades. I am editing the draft prospects also and will look to get a big man to start at center in the draft and move Horford to the 4 and Josh Smith to the 3.

                  Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

                  Association with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Clearly these guys were already set with Al Jefferson, Kevin Love in the paint and Foye as the point guard. What the T Wolves need were the shooters, and guys who could hit from 3.

So first I made a trade to get J Rich from Charlotte, I traded Mike Miller and Sebatstian Telfair for him. I changed J Rich's role to Starter 'I want you to be a star of this team'

Started off the season in 3rd place after the month of november, still having trouble with the outside shooting. So I checked Trading Block, and Tayshon Prince(81) was on there. I HAD to make this trade. because Corey Brewer as the SF wasn't doing it for me. So I traded Ryan Gomes, Corey Brewer, and my 3rd round pick for Tayshon Prince and one of their backup PG's to replace Telfair's departure.

                  Starting Lineup:
                  PG: Randy Foye(79)
                  SG: Jason Richardson(84)
                  SF: Tayshon Prince(81)
                  PF: Kevin Love(81)
                  C: Al Jefferson(91)

6th man: Rashad McCants (a beast)

Yeah the T Wolves needed reconstructing, but I saw these moves, and I knew these guys had a chance to be serious contenders.

SEASON REVIEW: After having a huge first half of the season bouncing between first and second, the T Wolves were not respected. The best power ranking they got was 8th even though they had just as good as records as the 1st 2nd ranked teams. the second half of the season was brutal. Had some injuries to Prince for a couple weeks, McCants with the flu, Love was out for a couple weeks. McCants was also upset with his role on the bench, and wasn't satisfied with play time so he says he will be trying out new teams this offseason. And we slid all the way to the end of the season.
The Blazers won the division. we barely made second. and the playoffs, by 2 games, we beat the Clippers for the 8th seed. FEWF.
First round of playoffs, facing the number 1 seed Phoenix Suns, oh jeez. But somehow we shut Steve Nash down, and won that series, 3-1(best of 5) Must've shocked everyone. The TWolves were now the team to be talkin about.

Next round, played the number 5 seed Portland Blazers. It was tricky. Back and forth series. They embaressed us on our home court, we slaughtered them on theirs. and again. we won the series! 4-3

West. Conf. Champ, we played the number 3 seed. Houston Rockets. This was the hardest team to play. with Yao Ming in the paint, it was impossible to get a layup without the ball getting slammed back in your face. When was Alston nasty at hitting 3's? they went up 2-1 on us. ugh we came this far and now this? We had to approach this differently. Double team Yao in the paint. because without him, no one else can step up, TMac Artest were only scoring 14 16 a game. which isn't what theyre capable of. So all of that followed through, Kevin Love stepped it up and challenged yao in the paint. we got ourselves a win. and another. and we win the next 3. Amazing. I wish they celebrated after winning these series. They kind of just walk off the court like every other game.

I'm in the finals now. Minnesota vs. Miami Heat.

Can the young TWolves pull off an incredible construction year?

I'll let you know what happens next..

                    Miami| 8 minutes| Pro| 82 games| No sliders (Might move USER stamina down)| Razr Roster| PS3

                    To start the season

                    PG Chalmers| Livingston| Quinn
                    SG D-WAde| Cook
                    SF Marion| J.Jones
                    PF Beasley| Haslem
                    C Magloire| Haslem| Blount

I won my first game against the Knick with the line up above. I dont remember the score but the game went into overtime. D-Wade had 36 pts. We made the trade for Oneal after this game.

                    New Lineup

                    PG Chalmers| Livingston| Quinn
                    SG D-WAde| Cook
                    SF Moon| Jones
                    PF Beasley| Haslem
                    C Oneal| Magloire| Blount

I went into the next game against the Kings feeling kind of skeptical because I do not like Oneal. I was thinking about puting Haslem at PF and Beasley at SF but I like the way Beas plays in the post. Anyway the game was going well until the second QTR. D-Wade, which had 14 points up until this point, sprained his ankle severly while going up for a layup. He's out 2-4 weeks (24 days). We ended up winning Oneal had 21 pts.

                    Injured Lineup

                    PG Chalmers| Livingston| Quinn
                    SG Cook| J.Jones
                    SF Beasley| D.Wright
                    PF Haslem| Moon
                    C Magloire| Blount

Needless to say, I lost the next game to the Bobcats 80-69. It was so frustrating that I wanting to quit in the middle of the game. I had 20 T.O.s to their 4. I really didnt want to do any trades this season but I think when Wade comes back I will makes some moves.

I need a backup PF and PG. I'll probably trade Moon, Magloire, Haslem, D.Wright, or Livingston. There basically all on the block. The Raptors 1st Round pick could be put in the mix as well

                          Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

Well i finish my first year in my bulls association, we finish in the 4 spot but we lost in 7 games against the pistons. In the offseason i resing Gordon thinking in a major move and he was very good for me making 22 ppg. I use team options with sefolosha and Thomas (10 ppg and 7 rpg). Then i make the trade that i was thinking all the season:

                          Chicago get:

                          Bosh

                          Toronto get:

                          Thomas
                          B.Gordon
                          1st round pick

That 1st round pick was the one that i get from washington, and in the draft that pick was the number 2. They finally draft a SF.
Then i made another trade with the blazers to get Webster because i need a playe that can hit the 3 pt for the lost of Gordon. I trade Sefolosha, a SG rookie and a pick for Webster.
                          And now my lineup is:

                          Rose/Williams/McInnis
                          Webster/Hughes
                          Deng/Simmons/Rookie SF
                          Bosh/Tim Thomas
                          Hibbert/Blatche/L.Wright

In my first game against the pacers i win for 10 points, and Bosh make 28p 5rebounds and 4 steals. And the best of all is that he ask me now for a contract extension . Well i really spect to reach the finals this year with bosh, rose and deng.

34-14 with the Phoenix Suns. I just traded Shaquille O'Neal, Jared Dudley, '09 1st Round Pick for Wally Z. and Anderson Varejo (both are expiring contracts).

Shaq wasn't doing much for me (8ppg and 5 rpg) and wasn't worth $20 million, so I shipped him off to save some money for the future. I lost a first round pick, which will probably end up being a late first rounder which isn't to bad.

                            Line-Up now is....

                            Steve Nash

Guys, help me bring Chris Bosh to the Bulls.

So far I'm 5-6, and my post defense and scoring is sadly lacking. I've played 4 of the games, simmed the rest. I'm 1-3 in my played games. The breaking point for me just came against the Lakers, I got torched by Bynum and Gasol down low. I was going to wait things out, but I want to make a trade now.

I offered the Raptors combos of Hinrich, 1st round pick this year, and Ty Thomas/ Tim Thomas / Noah. They turned them all down.

I have Hinrich and Noah on the trading block. i have a straight up offer from Denver, Hinrich for Nene. So I tried bringing them into the fold.

                              Chicago gets: Bosh
Toronto gets: Nene, Noah (has a higher rating than Ty Thomas right now), 1st round pick
                              Denver gets: Hinrich

Denver turned that down, even though they were offering me Hinrich for Nene straight up, so I'm not sure why they'd turn down that deal.

                              Any ideas?

This game is garbage offline after playing in online leagues. I have no idea how I got through a single game trying to talk myself into liking it.
