Fighting games aren't button mashing. They require a lot more skill than you think.

I hear you man. I own practically every fighting game known to man, but there are games like Tekken where noobies can button mash with reasonable success. Even VF5 (with it's tons of layers of complexities and frame by frame strategy) can be button mashed to a certain extent. Believe me I'll be the LAST person to bash fighting games

I only stated a "quick tap", I didnt state, "Quickly tapping A"...

How can you be rewarded for good D and you are letting the CPU play D for you?

If I can recall, Born made good points on how to play D, seems no one is taking heed to any of them. Of course, the solution is to change sliders but not all people want to.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree. I personally want to worry about the CPU's ENTIRE offensive repertoire, not constantly having to be on the lookout for a spam play over and over again.......the CPU should run a more varied offense and not have to result to such filth in order to score points.

But I see what you're saying now.

I wish I had saved the replay, but I didn't. If I see one again I'll record that with Reelmaker (is that what you meant?), the only camera I have is a Macbook so it's tough to get it situated for a good angle.

Sometimes the CPU is taking what you're giving them. I've seen plenty of instances where if I tried to play off ball D near the post and took my eyes off of a big, he made a quick cut to the basket for an easy 2.

Why? Bad defense.

In that situation, if you are trying to defend the post player off the ball then yes, that is completely plausible. But if you are playing lockdown defense on the Point Guard at the top of the key and he keeps whipping passes to the paint for easy buckets, then we have a problem, and in that situation I disagree, the CPU is taking what IT is giving itself.

Agree completely! Please fix this as it really takes alot of realism and immersion away from association.
