I wish you could have control over this too...BUT...if the Wizards are doing good in your association do you want to fire Jordan, because its not really justified if they are one of the better teams in the East in your association.

At least 2K isn't like Live where everyteam keeps the same headcoach for an entire dynasty. They don't get fired, you can't hire them, they don't retire...its ludicrous....Live Sucks!

No LAST year I said that I was GOING TO wait until Black Friday 2008 to buy NBA 2K9 since
            A. Will be close to patch time
            B. Cheaper
            C. Give time to let the players IRL create statistical identities so I can do my rosters

I bought 2K9 on release this year

            SHould have waited though

              jeez man sorry bout that...

i have NO clue how this game's gonna be after the patch now...i'm confused as now the trend is that when you release a patch you have to get used to the game again. and the "make two things good, makes 3 things bad" rule comes into play.

just when we all accepted the bad and tried to find logical work arounds now we have to see what if in fact has changed for the worse with it...

some actually complained that the NHL patch ruined offline gaming etc...thats what i'm worried about. that all the moans and groans about the darn 2k cam made something else worse in the game

And yes. coaches should be editable, but not before proper equipment edits though and a GREAt create a player . THAT stuff should be there because it was there long ago...

I would honestly like to see the whole Blacktop thing scrapped9it seemed toned down this year anyway one court etc) and then have the coaching stuff put in but put in full fledged.

So...To make a long story short, does anyone know if they are going to have a new roster update with Scott Brooks & Ed Tapscott as the Head Coaches for their respective teams?

I too wish they had it available to where you could edit coaches because unlike in JBH3 Association, the Wizards on my Association are doing damn near as bad as IRL! I would not be surprised to see Eddie Jordan gone and would love to do them the honor. (no offense EJ)

Re: Is It "Against The Law" To Be Able TO Edit/Create Coaches?

My opinion is simply; is this really a big deal? I mean come on I know we want to get as close to real life as possible but at the end of the day it is still a video game made my designers and programmers.

Embrace the progress being made, demand new features but accept that NO game will ever be perfect and meet the needs of all.

LMAO, it's the internet, you can say anything you wish about my momma, do it in person and that would be another story

And also this is a forum, I can take my opinion anywhere I feel or do you think because your post count is higher than mine you are afforded exclusivity to your threads?

Anyhow I said my piece, that thing called an opinion which the last time I checked I was entitled to.

I brought up post count or did you not see that. That is the only thing I could think of why you would think that I am not allowed to post my opinion here; maybe you believe you are an exclusive member because your e-penis is larger than mine.

Anyhow dude, your thread, your agenda. I am heading home to play some games and then check out LAL lay the smack down.
