from one end of the spectrum to the other when it comes to backing down defenders. The 2K camera seems to work better, though it still lags slightly from the initial transition.

Re: NBA 2K9 Patch Released For 360, Impressions Here
So can I confirm with you guys that during gameplay in offline mode that:
1) There's no backdoor passes the CPU does which lead to a high number of PIP (points in the paint)?
2) There is an increase of mid-range Js attempted by the CPU?2018-2019 NBA Champions!Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Patch Released For 360, Impressions Here
I still see some back door cuts, but not as much as before. I am also using nogster's rosters with my custom sliders so i was already having realistic pitp. I like the improvements, but it is certainly disappointing that the low post issues have gone to the other extreme (now being impossible to back someone down)Comment

I haven't played yet, but I love the fact that you can't dominate people by backing down. It's something I always complained about. In real life they can only back down 1 or 2 steps and then you need to make a move instead of constantly push people back down into the paint.Comment

For the short time I was playing, I wasn't having any problems backing down smaller guys(mismatches)in the post. Definitely noticed some improvements in this. Good job 2K.#RespectTheCultureComment

Maybe you guys can increase or decrease the Strength Slider and/or increase or decrease the On-ball Defense in order to see ppl being backed down?
If you are controlling a Big man down in the low post and want to back down, can't you just post up and and spin either right or left of your defender by slightly pushing your left analog stick to the direction of the roll?2018-2019 NBA Champions!Comment

3 seconds in the lane is still not called. Seems like the easiest thing to fix. Online is still a camp in the lane fest.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Post Patch Impressions
Is there a tell tale way to be 100% that you have the patch? let me explain. I have wireless internet and haven't hooked up my xbox to it in 6 months. I have downloaded NOTHING from nba 2k9 until today. I hooked it up and it updated a couple times. But I just want to make 100% sure that I have the patch. Is there a definitive way to tell??
Thank you guys so much. You never used to be what you are.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Patch Released For 360, Impressions Here
The post game isnt *that* bad from the patch. So far in my testing i've found that you just have to get good position and if that means tossing it back out and resetting then so be it, that's real basketball.
Although that doesnt excuse Shaq not being able to push Stackhouse around like he was nothing...As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment
