Is this possible?

Me and my brother rented this game and have been playing online together. We've had alot of fun teaming up together against the computer. The only problem is, we have to do team-up mode and you can't call plays or anything on that mode. I know there is a way to lock your selection on a certain position in a single player game. Is there a way to do this in an online unranked exibition game?

I thought if you were the PG you could call all of your teams plays.
