Some people have issues with paying for features that should be included in the game. Its 5 bucks so I could care less but some people do.

eggjactlee. I might pay for it if it is 2-3 weeks before the release of the game because it would essentially be an early test drive. One week? No.

Why would they add a mode that is imported into 2k10 but make everything based on 2k9?

From what i been told its going to be out early sept, but i didnt get a date. Its basically 5 bucks to start your superstar mode a month early. Thats what most people put down for a preorder. Look at how many people put down 5 bucks to play the 5 min Madden demo. Its almost the same thing, but this you will actually be able to carry over into your regular season so you can start your superstar mode or whatever.

Its not like they are asking you to break bank. People dont have to pay, going to be released a whole month or so before the actual game. Alot of people if its cool, willl get it anyways that said they didnt.

If this was like 14.99 or something i would have said bad bad bad bad move, but 5 bucks? Thats burgers and fries.

i dont know if this whole thing is in the final version of the game, but i am pretty sure you can start a career mode from the 2K10 actual game, but it probably wont have the whole draft combine thing. I could be wrong though. After all its 5 bucks. lol

Yea it is 5 bucks, but it doesn't make sense to have an NBA Draft and NOT have an NBA Draft Combine BEFORE IT.

So what happens in the summer after my first year of my association is over? A draft just happens?

Sounds about right.

One would think there are some things available to you via this purchase that wouldn't be in the full game. Something minor, such as being able to get your player rated higher to start off by doing drills and such. That might matter to you and it might not. As a bball gamer, paying $5 for this is pretty on par with what EA did with the NCAA March Madness bracket.

Looks like it could be a nice add-on for draft classes... *COUGH*
