I'm excited about the improved create-a-player tools and finally being able to set home and away shoes and customize the color of your kicks. Everything else is just gravy.

im excited how better the game will be then lst year, long with the new game features and modes. they say player styles are alot better, and cant wait to see how the diffrent sig animations there will be.

I'm excited that Mike Wang is gone and now Rob Jones can put his stamp on the game like he did the college game. CH 2k8 is classic and Rob Jones vision, and since he doesn't have to share it with Mike, now the game can progress.

I agree, I think Rob Jones will surprised all the doubts that people have, from all the news already he has so far.

I'd second that. I love that they've elaborated on sig style even more; looking forward to seeing what they've done. Also can't wait to see what they've done to improve defensive play

Im just excited that the game is coming out. I know they're gonna have some sick stuff as always. I just hope my gripes with the game were addressed. The sig stuff and spacing definitely caught my eye though . Also 2k never disappoints with the presentation IMO. I can't wait to see what else they've added.

I fully expect big Rob Jones to handle his business in gameplay this year. I am excited to see all the little stuff that may or may not be in the manual expressed in 2k10. I want to get lost in dleague/summerleague games and player management stuff and finally be able to enjoy that deep association mode and take advantage of all those beautiful animations.

Plus with last year being essentially a year off of 2k for me it should still be pretty fresh since I usually play that game almost year around.

On the topic of court spacing, does anyone have a comparison picture from 2K9 with this 2K10 shot?

I haven't been able to find a professionally done one like that, but these two shots are similar

Ahh, doggie you don't have too give me the screw face. The thread was what I am excited about and this is it. Rob Jones gets it, and if he truly the main lead as he was in the College game, then why wouldn't I be excited.

I like the guys with vision and a team that can excecute vision. He's knowledgeable and operates from a simulation based mind set, where authenticity is his main focus. It wasn't a knock on Mike Wang, but if EA was to steal one of those guys, I'm glad it was Mike and not Rob.

D League and Summer League have me quite excited... hoping its implemented within franchise.

Mostly excited about creating a player and putting him through the league as I have always felt that basketball is the easiest sport to do that with. There are only 10 people on the court as appose to 22 in football.

Also everything just sounds amazing about this game and it seems as if they put in a lot of the ish we asked for...!!!

D better be improved, off-ball contact/interctions/no skating.

HELP DEFENSE is the thing that I most want to see this year, I am soooooo tired of defensive players staying glued to their man when the ball is on the other side of the court.

they need to decrease the player momentum BIG TIME also, hopefully that happens. My Player looks pretty cool but if everything else sucks I don't see myself getting involved in that aspect.

@Nodima, They are not similar!Look carefully.Size of players is toned down in 2k10.
If you look even more carefully you will see that the space inside the 3-point range is increased a lot!This will give better spacing for sure.Just look the space between the free throw line and the 3-point line!It's increased surely by 1/3 or even more!I guess 2k10 will have plenty of mid-range shooting.This had to be done because My Player mode will also demand more court space for the user to move and feel like he's on the court both on offense and defense.I'm excited and very optimistic about 2k10.
