People are reacting negatively and this is how address it? How cocky. Ha. Most marketing departments would have gone all out to get something out there fast to show the real thing and not that dumb video that leaked. However, 2K must have an ACE up their sleeve.

It released on the weekend. They are at home enjoying their weekend off. Besides, they have something coming out soon. Heck, they wanted it out last week, but ran into some issues that were documented by Sim and Ronnie.

Though, he does sound confident in the game he's making lol. As long as he doesnt come out and say, he's trying to make a game so no one will compare his game to a 5 year old game and failing, then he's doing ok. lol

Oh yeah, I know I know. I didn't mean to imply that they should be working on weekends or anything. I just think some companies may have panicked and tried their best to get out a real trailer. Not 2K though. They must be sitting back and watching the competition for a good reason (we all hope).

I wouldnt really call this a leak. When you give a celeb a copy of something thats only a few weeks away this type of thing is to be expected and its not like JD made a vid that pointed out the game's flaws. Besides even the people that are sold or leaning towards NBA Live will be able to and likely download the trial version of the Combine along with the demo so the game will speak for itsself.

Can this also be said for the full 2k10 game? Pleas say yes

In the past when 2K wouldn't show anything until mid September the statement would be "Why is 2K hiding their product?!?!?, the game will suck" Now, with a $5 DLC game that was finished in early July, the statement will, be "OMG, this is NBA 2K9.3.14, they didn't change anything, the game will suck"

In all fairness, when people decide to troll or bash 2K, their posts are usually more articulate then those that bash EA.

I got a kick out of this, because it's very true.

I liked the video. It was something put out by JD, not 2k, off some type of handheld camera. The EA devs ask all the time for people to not to make any conclusions on things like this because it's not an accurate depiction of their game... and that's something that seems to ring true here.

Love the speed and the spacing... I think it's important to know this is a game full of create a players... it's about diving in and enjoying creating a guy and playing online basketball... for those that enjoy sticking to the single player portion of games, don't know how much this will be of use to you. May just have to wait until the NBA demo hits and the full game...

But for those who have been waiting for an MMORPG for a sports game... man...

I think you guys are astute enough to know that this is not final 2K10 gameplay code, it physically can't be. This game needed to be done in early July while we have until mid-late September for the full version of the game. That being said, you'll see the core changes to the game (spacing (which makes a big difference), mechanics, etc.).

It's a very fun experience that brings new gameplay to the table (the game plays totally different than what you are used to as you are player locked to your player). If you take it for what it is (it is NOT final 2K10 gameplay), then I honestly think you guys will really enjoy it. More than anything we've put out, this game rewards fundamental basketball and punishes me-first cheeser basketball. There is a learning curve for people who play a certain way, they are going to struggle at first.

Only 11 more days...

I dont know what yall expecting yall are asking for to much 2k9 was horrible why cuz mike wang left now hes wit live live looks good here comes 2k10 combine is a preview to 2k10 which they state in there article. Im a pass pn 2k10 this year unless they do something to blow my mind but right now im going back to live.
