OS My Player Crews: What's your position?

Hey guys, My Player is sounding like the true crack, and the combine is dropping in a few hours. After reading that 2k Insight and seeing the importance of online play, I'm inclined to choose My Player based off of what you guys will be doing online as well as what will be fun for me.

I had some great experiences with other OSers in Team Up last year, and that along with my experiences in the OS League has me leaning towards being a scoring PF/C.

I bring this up because having 20 PGs isn't going to help us, unless we want to be the Timberwolves. I know there are some natural PGs out there, but I also have a hunch that certain guys will excel at other positions. Chase plays SFs and PFs very well. Mo(mentous) seems to tear it up with PGs and SGs the most, and so on and so forth.

So in the interest of having a big, reliable and versatile group to participate in, what would be you guys' first and second options for player positions?

Me: Scoring PF/C 1st, pass first PG 2nd


P.S.--I'm sure after 100 hours of the combine, some answers may change, but no reason not to get the discussion going now, especially since the combine drops in a few hours anyway.

Pass-first PG who also rebounds (think Kidd)... 2nd choice is PF who can hit the mid-range shot and finish at the rack.

Those were basically my best positions in Team-Up in 2K9... I hardly ever played as a wing player. But yeah, we definitely need to get a "crew" happening here.

Im torn, I want to make a athletic PF that thrives in the pick & roll/pop, or a 6"9 SF tweener like Josh Smith and 2003-2006 AK47 but with a little more punch on offense.

First Choice- Myself - with all my real height and weight. PG- Solid PG with a vert
Second Choice SG thats a lock down defender

(Billups/Baron)

2nd
Three point specialist SG who also defends/rebounds.

I may buy the 360 version myself to try this team up thing.

I can play anything (in real life I am a 6'2 190 PG, game similar to Chauncy Billups) but in this game I would like to be a combo forward like Derrick McKey. 6'9 with an all around game.

Perhaps I will bite the bullet and play a slow lumbering center

Depending on how the PC online is handled, cross platform play may be possible (with Games For Windows Live).

1. Shooting/Rebounding PF
2. Defensive C

All-Around 4/5 i.e Pau Gasol

I'd go with a Grant Hill type player. Smart, can handle the rock, play some D (not lock down), pull up for a J off the dribble and will dunk on you if you sleep.

I'd like to get in on OS Crew. I think playing with some guys on OS is going to be nice. If they had some sort of championship like NHL 09 did it could go a long way.

Think i'm going to make a athletic Center.

But yeah, it's going to change. I think I may play all 5 positions. Whichever one i'm the best at i'll upload a player at that position.

Going to try athletic C first. Not many great Centers in the NBA today, so Center first.

Also in team up I've always did well playing C. Getting a few blocks and double double easily.

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Lots of variety. Less SGs than I would have thought, but I'm SURE there will be more of those come time to upload.

I was actually about to post that I would like to play a SG that can nail any open jumpshot and finish at the rim.

Or an all-around SF.
