Iverson and Randolph could possibly present a problem with the team chemistry, I wonder how this will affect Mayo's minutes as well as Conley's development.

They will be about as dangerous as a kitten sitting next to a coffee shop in NYC....AI does not have it like he used to and will almost certainly be a non-factor. He could mentor Mike Conley though.

I dont think AI is that good anymore in real life or 2K...and guys who are mid range shooters/ drivers who dont dunk are never that dangerous IMO in 2K anyway...its the hard core dunkers (Kobe, Lebron) and the lights out 3 point shooters (Ben Gordon, JR Smith) that you gotta be careful about...and of course, Yao Ming

thats not true, u just dont know how to use non dunkers, i played in lots of online leagues and i had iverson on my team before, he was a beast from mid range or slashing it was so ez, if u gave space pop mid, if u crowded 99 layup

Eh, I thought Iverson really fell off on 2K after the All-Star break, once they put him at like 82 or so combined with his slow *** crossover it was a wrap on his usefulness in 2K for all but the best AI users.


That said, the Grizzlies in 2K7 and 2K8 (pre Gasol) were one of the top teams in the game. I'll at least be able to run with Gay a little bit this year, unlike last year when they were terrible.

Well, they have a lot of offensive firepower. I think it's going to be a borderline disaster to watch in real life, but in NBA 2k10 they will be a threat. O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph, Allen Iverson, and Marc Gasol will do damage in the game, and I expect Thabeet's presence to be severely overrated as well.

I was originally thinking about using Memphis in my Association. I plan on controlling two teams, the Celtics and a bottom-feeder that I can build up. Memphis was very intriguing to me until I realized how much I despise Zach Randolph and dislike the make-up of the team. Winning would come much easier with Memphis in the game than it will in real life, so I'm not interested anymore. And I say that as a longtime Allen Iverson fan.

This post right here. I used the Grizz last year and was thinking about using them again, but as you said the Zach Randolph factor put the kibosh on that idea. I could even deal with A.I., but not Randolph. I am entertaining the idea of trading him for a ham sandwich or whatever I can get, but I'll probably just run with the T-Wolves instead.

If u don't know how to use non-dunkers in this game then I consider u really unskilled. I can pretty much do what I want with Allen and it frustrates my friends because they pick top tier teams like cleveland and LA and I still roast them 8/10 times and they play me really good too.
