agreed, i could care less about a offensive highlight reel trailer . People online mostly suck and attack paint every possession so they are gonna worship these types of trailers. ive been playing 2k FAR to long to fall in that trap. If they want to show improvement they need to make a defensive trailer because thats the area they are lacking in.

Help defense was in the trailer a few times. Help defense doesnt mean that the defender is able to make a play everytime...just that he is in position to make a play. There are a few clips where you can see other defenders coming over to help.

Great work Mo. It was a nice trailer.

One thing that really stands out to me that hasn't been mentioned yet is when they showed KG doing his pre-game stuff, in the background you can see Vince walking to the rim getting ready to do his at the same time...that's a real nice touch IMO.

I liked how when Melo was driving in someone was heading to the corner for a wide open 3. Notice the lane was clogged and he was free.

Just something no one mentioned.

You also got the drive and kick with chris paul where the help d came over and opened up the shooter in the left corner. Someone may have mentioned that already but I have not read the whole thread yet..

For what it's worth, they are the right color. Last year doesn't always equal next year folks.

FWIW, my post was 100% sarcasm simballa, I'm getting this game day 1. I could care less about the warmups haha.

Was it me or were the Hawks home jerseys (around :40 mark) more vibrant? I know there's better lighting, but those jerseys just stood out to me as the rest still looked same ol' same ol'.

This is just wrong, but I was expecting a clip of Bosh when the word "RuPaul" came out. You know, like when Shaq called him... yeah, haha.

except that video wasnt supposed to show a breakdown of everything. Its supposed to have a wow factor for the casual fan. Go look on websites where that video is post and look at what 90 percent of everyone says. 2K accomplished that they set out for in this video.

Hardcores are never wow'ed by anything really. We just say, ok cool. i like it. casual fans arent the same. They are what keeps the game afloat if you like it or not, they by far outnumber us sim guys by probably 10-1. It sux, but thats how it is.

What's silly about comments like that is just 2 years ago, people were posting "OMG like my man Momentous needs to be out at 2k making the trailers."

So.... 2k went, got him to do a few trailers, and now guys are claiming they aren't worth watching because it doesn't show them what they want to see.

Only the sports gamer. People weren't excited for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and screaming "show me the improvements!" as they produced trailer after trailer.

Just a funny situation all around. I used to stick up for the guys at OS who were above that sort of thing but little by little I'm losing my side of that argument.

Nice call! I noticed it too. You can see something similar also in the VC drives.

On the whole, the trailer shows a lot about (supposed) gameplay improvements, considering that its main purpose was to hype and excite, not informe (left vs right cerebral hemispheres, you know)
You got the Js out of the dribble & the mid-range game, the drive & kick, the defensive rotations & help D (maybe I'm wrong, but even Gasol block seems on help D)

Great trailer! Now I'm listening, 2k...speak to me!
and the CAVS pre-game photos are simply ridicolous
