How do you throw an alley oop using a 360 controller? Thanks.

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
i'm curious about the differences between the console game and PC game. does anyone know what has been left out in one, or added in another etc? pros vs. cons of getting the PC version compared to the console version?Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Hey guys, I'm not big on PC gaming so I'm not sure what's going on. Installed 2k from Steam, installed it and it works. But when it comes to playing a game it runs horribly. Did the benchmarking and it was giving me 3 FPS, what the hell? I'm also getting half empty arenas. Here are my specs. I'm running it on my MacBook Pro booting Windows XP.
Got this from the mac website.
Up to 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
High-performance graphics
2.53GHz, 2.66GHz, 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
4GB memory
250GB, 320GB, or 500GB 5400-rpm hard drive
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor with 256MB or 512MB GDDR3 memory (select models)
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor
Help please?
Your videocard (as on most laptops) is integrated, so it won't be as powerful as discrete ones that you can get for a desktop. however, i was able to play 2k9 way back when on my macbook with the same graphics processor on modest settings (medium-low across the board). have you tried other settings?Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
So I'm on my third download from Gamersgate.com. The first one had corrupt files. The second seemed to be missing a .cab file. They won't refund my money. There are no retail copies available where I live. Their stupid download thing is terrible too. It takes my like 15 hours to download the thing (20mb connection on my end).
Should I just keep trying? Should I order a hard copy online? Should I download from somewhere else?Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
It does a little for CPU intensive games. I've ran the benchmark for GTAIV with and without it enabled and it's about a 5-6 fps difference.
Most games don't utilize all cores though, so it really doesn't help much at all. I wouldn't stress it if you can't unlock a 4th core.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I think I finally got this crap to work. I had to download the file from gamecopyworld, but it's running now. I'll have to play with it until I can get a working download from gamersgate.
Crisp! 1680x1050 with everything cranked is getting me "High" framerate, around 87.
AMD Phenom II 720 x4 (that's right).
ATI 4890 1MB
4GB 1600 ram
Windows 7
Now it's time to hook to my 46" plasma and run in 1080p with surround sound.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Anyone have a Core 2 duo E8400 + 4850 PC? I'm curious to know what settings to expect from that build. Also, I apologize for not reading through this whole thread but is there a reason why the PC version is so cheap? $20 for this game is too good to be true considering how much they're charging for the console version.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I don't have any controller issues. I'm using Windows 7 with a wireless 360 controller and adapter. I have the triggers as intense defense and turbo and it's working just fine.
I gotta say though, this port feels a lot more polished overall than 2K9 felt.Comment
